Greetings members of War of Ninja,

We are currently debating whether we should open up a 'Fan Club' section, and we were wondering what the beloved members of War of Ninja thought of the idea.

Of course the section would come with rules that would prevent abuse of the section, but I can assure you that it will be regulated on a more lenient basis.

So please share your thoughts, the more feedback the merrier.

what do you mean by fan club. can you give me an example of a topic you would post there? i dont get the meaning for this. for example if its an anime fan club why not post in the anime and manga section?

Well you could create a fan club for just about anything; you could create them about: fruits, people, cars, objects, places, whatever your heart desires.

And to the comment posted by Ganseki, what exactly would this section call for? I don't see much traffic going on in that section since the demographic of the forums isn't that exposed to programming at least. And the general knowledge of computers is basically how to get online and roam, not so much the mechanics.

We used to have a technical support section but it was taken down and changed to general questions.

seems nice. it will not take much time and i support this. but can i start hate fan clubs? like the anti warba fan club or something?

I like the idea of having fan clubs. It means we can have Super Cool Private Clubs with specific club related contents. I've always wanted to make a Club. :amused

Couldn't you just change the rules of the Clans section so that Clubs could be made in there too?

Other than that I support the idea

I've participated in fan clubs on NB long ago, I certainly would like to have them again. They were pretty fun, and judging by the WoN community, I'm pretty sure we can all handle it a bit better. So yes, I agree that you should make the section, just see how it goes the first time.

No hate clubs will be allowed. There will be rules established by the moderating staff on what is and what is not allowed.

The idea itself is good, some people might get sidetracked though (for the hate clubs part you mentioned).
Anyway, I don't see how it could be properly introduced here, I mean, how could it fit?
