In a world where money dominates and flows, businesses thrive, love and other emotions are outdone thus not cared about. If you create a family, you are going to have to earn money enough to provide for your children, even though role-play still has a part in a family.
If you end up being a caretaker, your family is going to run low on money, as you don't earn enough . In other words, money dominates.

So why have a job you like rather than the one you make your bread with?
Why be a caretaker rather than a CEO? Discuss.

I for one would rather be taken for an idiot than not to have money.

Well, it's' a delicate balance depending on your skills, and the demand for your skill, along with your passion, and the demand for your passion.

I for one, would rather be doing something that is high in demand, and earns me a fair living, rather than something peaty and entertaining. That's why I have a private life.

Some people, however skilled they may be, just simply can't do something they aren't interested in. And what use are you if you can't get your work done?

Well for me money isn't everything. It is true that you need money to survive. It's been proven to me several times during my childhood but from my experience doing a job that makes you happy is a thousand times better than doing something just for money. If you do something just for money you will eventually come to hate it and sooner or later you'll ask yourself if it's worth it. Is the pain you feel worth the green paper that is given to you? At the end of the day it all comes down to what is more important to you. Is it how you feel or money?

You can't choose a job that's entertaining (so you enjoy doing it) and earns you a fair living at the same time. Post your answer correctly.

Honestly, I don't care how boring my job may or will be, as long as I am able to take care of my family. Take care of all their needs, wants, and much more. Have a simple and fair life. Never have to worry about money or eat less so that you are able to pay the bills and such.

I am just working toward a secure, well paying job. That is all that I want and need.

But, if you are able to find a job that you love and that pays well, than you are lucky my friend. ^^

I agree with you fully, AleksYondy. So long as my job makes me rich, I don't care what else is going to happen. I will always be in safe hands. I don't care how much I love my job.

That's exactly what I said.
While it is possible to earn a living doing something entertaining, it's not likely, and personally, I find it more rational to chose a profitable job, over a job that fills personal wants, because those can be filled in personal life, rather than work life.

You hit the nail on the head. The only thing that matters and should matter to most people, supposing they are smart, is how highly-paid their job is. If I want to have a nice and homely home, I will have to work for it. Consider a caretaker who desires for one but does not meet the requirements for it. He would need to work by 35% more hard than a CEO, in case the CEO wants to have a Villa. That's all that matters. You can find the one more easily on the other hand, as having much money does matter to your partner-to-be. And no, that does not mean that your partner-to-be is mean or somewhere.

For many ppl money won't bring happiness, and some ppl just don't need much so they lay back and live a relaxing lifestyle.

Not if you have to work hard. For some money isn't the goal and isn't needed.

It's not about being rich, it's about getting by, getting by comfortably. Everyone would like a job doing something they love, but honestly,it doesn't always work out like that. It's about finding that happy medium. A job can stress me out, but if i'm happy outside of that job, then im happy in general. Cause at the end of the day, you go to work to make money, not to make friends or anything of the sort. It's about putting food on the table, and doing what it takes to do so.

Indeed. It's not some, but MUCH. So yes, you don't need some money.
You need much! If you want to live comfortable. Look into what Kazuo has said.

Ppl all around the world live happily and/or comfortably with little money. Not everyone is materialistic, some ppl just enjoy being alive and are very happy without riches.

Great. I'm glad they are. But some people are materialistic, so why not make the best of the opportunity?
