It was overplayed here in Brazil as well. I don't see why, though. The lyrics are plain and the melody is repetitive. =/

Quite catchy.. but not enough to make me say HELL YEAH. D: The song when you hear it sounds like a scene out of some incest porn flick,

I agree with Taylor, it's melody is contrived and it annoys me (the grandtotal of it's originality is the throw the 4 chords tune into a sub tempo minor)

The lyrics are boring and mildly nonsensical and mirror almost every other song on the pop charts

And the creme de la creme, It's not even about what it's about. The song was actually supposedly inspired by the "Burning Man" festival.
