personally I like Paladin the most, and Necromancer after that.
Pala has a skill where this hammer keeps twisting around him, that is the most uber 1337 skill in a game ever xD

and Necro can summon massive armies of skeletons and stuff which is pretty awesome =)

Ahh, Diablo 2 brings back memories. Well, I loved Amazon and Sorceress. I found Amazon to be the most fun to play with, as it is kinda difficult. Sorceress has a tough beginnings, but is the strongest, later.

Con is a lie. Wait, it's not.

Just don't use summoners, they are useless in general.

Since you want druid, make werebear.

Actually, a necro summoner is one of the best choices to solo the game. Along with the sorceress, he is one the most item independent chars.
If you are a first timer, then I suggest the Barbarian since he's so hard to kill, but as a personal choice I would go with an Assassin or an Amazon.

With the Druid, it will probably be impossible to solo hell without the end game items and the only Druid I've build that can manage hell difficulty is a wind Druid(extremely hard to get the items), all other builds failed.

I love that game and tried every builds out there.Feel free to PM me if you have questions.

:amused Press the "Tab" button and it will appear.

Small tip: First act stick by the paths on the map, rest of the acts stick close to the edge of the maps, it will get you there...eventually. And tire to get every Waypoint on each map, it helps a lot.

That depends on your play stile and most importantly the char you chose.

There are 3 modes, Normal Difficulty, Nightmare Difficulty and Hell Difficulty, in that order, you unlock them by beating the game in the previous difficulty. The monsters get much stronger with each difficulty(more hp, immunities to some type of attack), but they also drop better items so it compensates.
