If this is the idea of Desperation being piercing but outright kill him, then I agree with your suggestion.

Well, I think its time for a final decision. I get the feeling people seem to like version 1 best. It is the most unique version, and it can bring something new to the game. I am inclined to agree with this.

I have decided to make a small change to it though. People have asked for desperation to deal piercing damage. I myself would prefer to have that attack bypass counters instead of pierce, because I believe Tadao would otherwise be too vulnerable to counters.

Cursed Diamond
Affects Tadao with Cursed Diamond infinitely, disabling stuns, granting Tadao 1 Cursed Diamond charge each turn and dealing 5 affliction damage to Tadao for every Cursed Diamond charge each turn. This skill toggles. All Cursed Diamond charges are removed when this skill ends.
tactic, instant
1 rnd
cooldown 1


Glass Cutter
Tadao deals 25 melee damage to one enemy. Each Cursed Diamond charge increases damage dealt by this skill by 5.
melee, instant
1 str
cooldown 0


Desperation
Requires Tadao with 50 or less health points. Tadao deals 20 melee damage to all enemies bypassing counters, killing Tadao. Each Cursed Diamond charge increases damage dealt by this skill by 5.

Hmm.. Ignoring counters is indeed very very strong with him.

I'm glad you didn't boost the base damage after giving him that.

I feel.. paranoid of just how much that might actually be, but I'll wait and see.

It's great seeing that Tadao is getting a rework...but suddenly, I have a bad feeling about this rework.

Apply your suggestion Yuudai. Makes a lot more sense for Desperation to be uncounterable seeing as it is really Tadao's weakness.

hmmm...tadao will kill himself and combining desperation with his VI will render a great blow but the only thing will be to make a team that will keep him alive so he will make a lot of charges

This will be interesting to see, because I predict Arasoi would become a popular Tadao counter.

Arasoi never became a popular swap against Daikis and Yuurins though. Although it would be a nice option to just put up a ton of DR or drain the team as a countermeasure to Tadao teams.

I don't know about other people, but Arasoi always worked well against the Yuurin/Kurai/Tadashi team for me.
