So, a couple of years back I made an account here on WoN, but forgot the password to access it. Unfortunately, I deactivated the e-mail address that was linked with the account and, now, can no longer gain access to it.

Are there any alternative ways to recover a lost password? Is there a way that moderators or admins can access and send a user's password to another e-mail address or pm it to another account?

The most I can do within MY POWERS, is to tell you the e-mail linked to the account. And EVEN THEN, I don't know if that is the type of information I can give out unless there is absolutely NO DOUBT in my mind that it is okay to give it to you.

Perhaps creating a new address with the exact same name would allow you to use the password recovery (the internet is often silly like that) and that may very well be your best bet here.

Actually, I already know the e-mail address linked with the account, but as I stated earlier, it would be no use to me since I deactivated the account.

As far as verification goes, I can provide substantial proof if it ever got to that point.

I was able to make a mirror e-mail address and reset the password for my account.
