So i just fought against Kozan Isshou.
When he had a protector of 25 left, i used Strength of the Tiger King followed by Flash Fang with 16 charges. He survived, but it should have killed him, or not?

Isshou has a limiter of 20. so that means only 20 damage per turn is allowed. so he ended with 5 dd

anyways, What kind of isshou lets nori stack 16 charges, while he has an attack that destroys protectors.

Special thanks to Edeath.

I think he/she is talking about the boss fight.

Let's see, did you do something to make strength of the tiger king do more damage (like warbanner of offense)? Because if you broke his protector before Flash Fang hit he'd have become invulnerable to it.

Yeah he becomes invulnerable to melee skills when protector breaks. This means its not possible to kill Isshou using Nori.

Well, the only way he could have survived flash fang with that many charges would either be you broke the protector before Flash Fang could connect, or he wasn't being effected by Strength of the Tiger King's anti-healing effect.

I definitly didnt break it with strength of the tiger king.
I read one of the guides and it says once Isshous protector is at 25 points, i should use strength of the tiger king followed by flash fang with 16 charges, thats what i did and he survived.
I could try something else, but if a guide says so, it should work :oh

Okay I just tested it out and it really doesn't work anymore.

By the way, guides aren't always up to date, so if something doesn't work find a different guide or think of a strategy yourself.

If it doesn't work any more, use Daiki(WoO)-Shoji(Tanto)-Tadashi (SB). Fast and efficient team to destroy Isshou without him dealing any damage at all.

Dunno what may have caused the glitch tbh. Maybe some re-coding.

Yeah, guides arent always up to date. Lucas's team will do the job though. Good luck!

Or you could try Yamisebi's guide. I think it still works seeing as most of the character he uses doesn't get affected by nerfs.

The topic was made because Yamisebi's main Isshou strategy isn't working anymore. (Isshou is ignoring Toraji's anti-healing effect.) The backup strategy still works though.

Not all the guides are up to date.If you used FF after SotTK,then the melee invul should have done this(after you break his protector). And,if you want to beat him,use Daiki which has a perma counter on Isshou and Hai to stack. When the DD is destroyed, then kill Isshou with CE.(Marcel's guide)
