Hey there, everyone, I have something new today. I wrote this poem as a part of my future project "Taylor's Poetical Riddlery" (yes, I'm creating a series of poems that will act as a massive riddle by using the answers as passwords to certain e-mail accounts) but I thought this one required a bit of extra thought, which would make the overrall level of the challenge a tad too high for what I've intended. Thus, I've decided to release this poem as a side-riddle, and, since it does not make part of the Poetical Riddlery no more, I shall be able to give hints as the game progresses. I will release a new hint every 16 posts (or a bit more, but I intend to do it as fast as I can by posting on each 16th post) and I might be able to answer general (NOT specific) questions about what's involved by the game, by answering VAGUE yes/no questions.

Side Note: The kerning between the capital V and A on this website is too high! It looks so ugly, xD.
Side Note 2: Making the word bold made that problem go away. xD
Side Note 3: I just found this comic, what a coincidence!

Now that was really weird. And random.

So here we go! Have fun discovering the answer!

Eaten Computer

Face your own corruption,
Enthralling decoy (of humanity!)
Expect the answer to be on the start,
Displayed on such a cryptic manner.

Disrupting your own pace,
Enrapturing the concepts, long lost vortex
Arithmetic disguised as plain words,
Devised to make the beginning mean something.

Fall into the nothingness!
An unending curse, hex, spell.
Creator of my own illusion,
Ending inside my particular hell.

Disturb my mind, make it shatter, scatter!
Ends and starts, they all don't matter
As my life begins to drain,
Discovering the answer is my last strain.

EDIT: Oh, yeah, I forgot!

Answer format: 6 characters, digits only.

It's pretty impossible to do a poetical riddle without acrostics. I mean, on each and every riddle I've devised for my Poetical Riddlery, nearly all of them have an acrostic on SOME manner (even if it's involved in the end, generated by decoding the information, organizing it onto the lines and THEN reading the formed word). I think there was only one exception, however, so far.
Either way, I've said too much already. xD

The hint is: the title means a lot, once you dissect it.

Also, your answer is incorrect, Tsugaga. *plays buzzer sound*

FEED DEAD FACE DEAD?
But that's just 5 unique characters there. FEDAC. Now let us transform these into digits. F = 6 E = 5 D = 4 A = 1 C = 3. Now the one missing number in the sequence is 2. So I'm guessing the 6 digit number is 654321 or reversed 123456.

Pretend this is Taylor posting, Trite.

Ha...! Now this was a clear shot, like the purest milk... still, we're aiming at coffee here, strong enough to make the most compelling case. Although the conversion of the digits was interesting, I would not make the answer contain the digits I did not express on the poem nor make such an easy riddle.

Good shot, Low, but incorrect nonetheless.

Uh if it has a lot to do with the title then 010101 since that's the binary code with which virtually every aspect of the computer comes to life with.

But the more I read the poem, a picture emerges. I mean single sentences decipher to have almost the same meaning as FEED FACE and DEAD. This might just be a misconception on my part though. '='

Ooh, now you're thinking with computers. Cool, although I don't think binary will lead you far. Maybe something that could be applied to the poem and that was hinted on two occurences? That should do the trick just fine.

Okay, I've said enough for now. xD

Nice riddle poem, it's interesting. Are you going to post more?

Is it 160215? (this is a bit hard xd)

Surely. I'm working, as I already said, on my "Poetical Riddlery", which will consist of pretty much a series of these bonded by a "scavenging-ish hunt" through a series of pages and open-sourced messages. Get ready to go through several rounds of poem reading and riddle solving when all of my poems get ready.

And no, it's not 160215.

Right, so far I've drawn a few things from this poem which could help others reach the end or just send them in the wrong direction (which I hope I am not.)

I noticed that in the poem the word hex stood out and reminded me of 2 different things; hexidecimal and Hexspeak.

I then concluded that it may be closer referring to Hexspeak as the line arithmetic disguised as plain words. (For those that don't know, Hexspeak is the combination of Numbers and characters to make words like leet speak.) (This also goes with the beginning meaning something, as it is the answer.)

From the clue given by Taylor about the title and its reference in the poem I thought about changing the 'eaten' part to hexspeak.

E.G. e = 3, a = 4, t = 7, n = ?

From this I got to 3473 as the first 4 numbers but I have no idea on ho to change an n to hexspeak.

I hope this information is right or at least close to what is right because otherwise I've made myself look a right idiot.

Also I tried to use the words, FEED DEAD FACE DEAD but I just couldn't find a way to convert it to hexspeak.

Again, if all this is wrong, then sorry for wasting your time with useless information.
For a lifetime we fight without freedom. Still we wait for the warrior's return. Though we're clashed down and broken, we'll still carry on. Alone in this lost Fallen World.

243447?

Since FEED + DEAD + FACE + DEAD = 3B715 in hexidecimal and if you convert it to decimal the answer is 243447.

Or maybe I'm just over-thinking this cause I normally count in hexidecimal. Haha. :laugh :laugh :laugh
