Eternal Midnight

My life is sorrow and sad
My heart cries for love,
The love and happiness it newer had…
And God knows if it will have.

My soul is broken and empty
And barely manages to pick itself
It picks piece by piece like it’s a duty
And shouts to the moon like a wolf

But one day I found something,
Someone, friends who made me who I am
Happiness enters my heart, showing..
Showing me who and what I really am

A friend like you showed me what I lack
What I need to be a better person
And now, this lost wolf is back…
Happy and capable of moving on.

Some rhymes I can see,
a poem talking to my soul.
You didn't show all you hear,
Only a small part - a weak growl.

Roaring your power inside of heart
waiting for time to show a part.

Giving a poem to poem of yours,
sharing my heartbeat instead of rate.
Ain't no grave can hold that horse,
a thing artist goes on through the Dream's Gate.

Np my friend. Just wanted to prove that TAKT is a very poetical clan ;)

Btw three-four years ago two of my poems were printed in a collection, because they win a John Paul II poetry contest twice in a row. Note: my poems used to have no rhymes. Are read during an annual evening with JPII.
Some were printed in a newspaper...

But! It's a topic about your poetry Scimitaro, don't want to steal it from you. Your poem is very good, but still you have to improve. Like everyone. No excludes.
