How about when someone thumbs you up, you get a notification, similar to how the moderators get a notification when someone presses the "report" button. I know many people post many times, and then they notice that they got a thumbs up, and they don't know from which post. Enabling notifications when you get thumbed up, would be a good idea, in my opinion, since it'll save time, instead of checking every post you made.
Anyway, opinions?
Check out my other suggestion.

Also, remember to vote War of Ninja for Best New Game.

Yeah, but it would still be nice to see with what you helped a member with.

Well personally to me I think that people are getting a little too attached to the thumbs up option. To me it's an opinion to whether or not someone likes something. And what happenens if you post a god post on like 10 different threads and get 59 thumbs ups? I'd be like dammit! D:

Like I said in the first post, when people post many times, they can't remember all the posts and in which topics those posts they made were made. When they get a thumbs up, they won't know which post was helpful, since there were too many that they made.

If you get a pm for it, then no. I'd rather not have my inbox filled with silly spam about getting a thumb up.

It's already been said, it isn't really needed to be honest.

For me, I don't really care if I get a thumbs up, so getting notifications would just be a nuisance. I certainly don't go around looking for where I got a thumbs up...does it really matter?

I rather not have it PM'ed to me it does'nt really concern me who gave it, but the fact that I got it is enough for me. If it were to be implemented I'd prefer it to have a separate section so my inbox is'nt spammed with notifications.

lol, no way. You see my thumb count? and yukigaaru's thumb count? We both have been thumbed over 100 times and that would flood our inbox.

Its a good idea though.

perhaps a list of recent thumbed posts on your profile would be a good way of letting peaple see what posts were thumbed rather than an auto pm in your inbox. i always get annoyed when a new pm is just nothing.

Yeah that's a better idea but there can't be a recent list for everything.
