Time to make my first Guide!

Well, I felt like people might like it if the guides were easier to access, so I felt like making a guide with all the boss and mission teams. I mainly made this to help the people that are new to the game, because I have seen many topics that need help with teams. Hope it helps those that need it.

From this, I hope to accomplish the following:
1. A team given for all missions with somewhat of a strat.
2. Helpful resources for bosses.

*NOTE: Some of these teams may be subject to nerfs, but I’ll try to keep them updated as much as possible.*

Also: I didn’t give recommended items for any except for boss battles because items can be changed where needed, and in my opinion it depends on the situation. The better items for region 1 in my opinion are the Warbanners (Offense is my favorite), Sake, and potions, so I'd buy them first from the shop. Remember to frequently visit the shop for items, you will have enough money by the end to by all of the items in the shop so don't worry about that.

Another Note: There is feature that is very helpful, and that is to be able to view the opponents items and moves if you don't know them. You should use that to your advantage.

*For many missions, you may have to go back and forth in between villages, so if you are unable to do a mission for a village, try going to the other village.

~Region 1~

Ok, so Prison missions, obviously you have to use the starting team: Jyouzo, Jinsei, Yukigaaru
It’s a pretty a simple team to use, and has a decent damage output with healing and occasional stuns

Ok, so I went to the Niiro Village first, because I like Jun, and I’m sure there are others that agree when I say he is a very good char. If you went to the Aoiro Village, then scroll down for that guide.

*Use some of the previous strats given to help you with some missions if strat isn’t given.


Niiro Village

Warrior’s Test

For this mission you have to use the same team as the one that was used for the prison missions because you haven’t unlocked any other characters yet so use: Jyouzo, Jinsei, Yukigaaru

The Niiro Way

Win 2 battles with Niiro Jun

For this mission, I used the same started team except I substituted Jun in for Yukigaaru, but you could put Jun in for anyone because he mainly uses random. For the team I used: It is a good team with heavy spike.

Team: Jyouzo, Jinsei, Jun

Strat: Use Jyouzo’s Bloodletter move to increase damage and Enrage with Jun (Focus optional)
Once you get around a 3 or 4 stack with Jun’s enrage, blindspot is usually able to finish off an enemy.
Heal when necessary obviously, and you can use their attack moves too.
ALWAYS GO AFTER ONE ENEMY AT A TIME. A lot of the time, people try to kill multiple enemies and they usually end up losing. Once one enemy is killed, the team gets less energy the next turn, so it’s helpful to only kill one at a time.

Our Territory

Assassination 0/11 (-1 Mission)

So for missions like these, you get +3 assassination for each assassination character that you win with, and just a -1 if you lose.

Team: Jinsei, Jyouzo, Jun

This team has 2 assassination characters which give you +6 assassination per win and -1 per loss, so this mission should be fairly easy. Use the same strategy as above and you should be fine.

Watched from the Shadows

Collaboration 0/4 (-2)
Assassination 0/12 (-1)

For this mission, I recommend having Tadashi from the Aoiro Village, but it isn't necessary.

Teams:Asami, Jinsei, Jun (Collaboration Part)
Jyouzo, Jun, Jinsei or Tadashi, Jun, Jinsei (Assination Part)

Strat: Pretty simple teams, for collaboration, think of combos and remember the support skills of Asami and Jinsei. For assassination, spike like crazy.

Upcoming Elections

Win 3 battles with Niiro Hana

You could really use any team for this mission, just try to find one that doesn;t have a major clash. I think I used Jun, Hana, Jinsei. Its good to try to experiment with teams at this early stage, because you will need to be able to use teams well later in the game.

Big Sister, Missing!

Complete a mission called "Ambushed".

This mission is in the Aoiro Village, so scroll down for more info on that.

Desperation

Assassination 0/15 (-5)

This mission is a bit tough because of the -5 per loss, so I recommend using a full assassination team.

Team: Jyouzo/Tadashi, Jun, Yuudai

Strat: Really simple to use, heavy spike team.

Becoming Daimyo

Win 6 battles with Niiro Yuudai.

Here, any team with Yuudai could do really, but I suggest using the team that you used for the last mission, because by now you have most likely explored with that team and are able to use it fairly well.

Congrats! You have completed the Niiro Village now.


Aoiro Village

Guard Duty

Win 1 battle with Asami.

Ok so if you went to Niiro Village first, like I did:
Team: Asami, Yukigaaru, Jun

*If not you could use Jinsei instead of Jun

Strat: Well, Asami is a support character in this team; she has a nice low cost stun and can make you deal more damage. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE ORDER OF THE MOVES CORRECT IN THE QEUE FOR THE INCREASED DAMAGE (make her move go before the others). Yukigaaru can also stun for a low cost, with some additional damage, also he can reduce damage done to your team. With Jun, just spike like crazy lol and with Asami’s increased damage you can pull some nice combos.

Securing the Trader

Collaboration 0/9 (-0 Mission)

Since this is a -0 mission, you could use the same team as above, but you will need 3 wins which shouldn’t be too hard. Alternately, to make the mission faster you could use Jinsei instead of Yukigaaru.

Team: Asami, Jun, Jinsei

Strat: Similar strat to the other team, but one less stunner. More of a support team with Jinsei as a healer, and always remember that Jinsei has a pretty good attack move along with her healing. Yukigaaru could be used instead of Jun, but then the team would be too much of a support team and wouldn’t be as fast, so I think this would be the best option.

Settle Things

Collaboration 0/11 (-1 Mission)

Same team as above should be used for fastest finish on mission in my opinion. It gives 6 collaboration per win and you can finish the mission with 2 wins and a loss in between.

Team: Asami, Jun, Jinsei

Same strat as above.

*Now that you have completed this mission, you can access Haruto's shop and purchase Fire Arrows for free. I feel like this item is very useful for Jinsei, and almost always used it with her early in the game.

Securing the Border

Win 2 battles in a row.

Well, since this is a pretty simple mission and doesn’t require any specific chars, you should just use any team that you are comfortable with or good with.

Looking for Reasons

Win 3 battles with Aoiro Tadashi

Well, in my opinion Tadashi is another character much like Jun, in that he does very nice spiking damage, and is cost effective, so I used the two together in many teams for a lot of my assassination missions later in the game.

Team:Tadashi, Jun, Jinsei

For this team if you really want to you could give fire arrows to Tadashi, but I usually keep it on Jinsei. When you get Warbanner of Offense, I usually equip it to Jun, because I think it suits him best, but really it could go on anyone.

Strat: Use Hunter's Eye on the most dangerous enemy, or your first target. Also this you could use it on someone with Damage Reduction to eliminate that. Make sure you avoid the stuns when you use it, because this move could get canceled. Its a pretty simple spike team, and can work wonders if used correctly. Remember that you also have a healing move with Jinsei if needed.

Ambushed

Disruption 0/7 (-1 Mission)
Collaboration 0/7 (-1 Mission)
Assassination 0/7 (-1 Mission)

For this mission, I think the fastest way to complete would be to use a team with 1 of each.

Team:Yukigaaru, Tadashi, Jinsei

Strat: With this team, it is easier to use hunter's eye safely. You should remember a stunners cooldown, and stun the other stunner if a team has multiple stunners. This way, you are able to use hunter's eye safely and not get it canceled. Remember you have a healer too, so use when needed.

Finding Evidence

Win 3 battles with Aoiro Akira
Assassination 0/10 (-3)
Disruption 0/10 (-3)

Akira works well with book of mentality if you have that, you should equip it to her. Since Akira is a disruption character, I recommend using atleast another disruption char with her, so that both parts of the mission are complete at the same time. At this point in time, Yukigaaru is the only other disruption character that you can use.

Team for disruption: Akira, Yukigaaru, Jinsei or Akira, Jun, Jinsei
Team for assassination: Jun, Tadashi, Jinsei or Jun, Tadashi, Yuudai

Strat: Assassination team is already given so, disruption: the first team just shuts down a lot of teams with its multiple stunners. For the second team, Jun is the main char, and the other two are supporters. Stun the dangerous characters with Akira and heal Jun when needed. Otherwise attack with whoever, and use blindspot for the kill.

Getting the Facts Straight

Assassination 0/8 (-2)
Disruption 0/8 (-2)
Collaboration 0/8 (-2)

I'd use a team with 1 of each for this mission too, so any team with those standards can be used
I'd use Tadashi/Jun, Yukigaaru/Akira, Jinsei/Asami

Once you finish this mission, you get one of my favorite village items, as well as completion of the Aoiro Village!


Kage Village

A Small Favour

Disruption 0/9 (-1)

For this mission, you could use any of teams mentioned earlier with a disruption character. I recommend using a team with 2 disruption characters for faster progression through the mission.

Delivery Service

Win 2 battles with Kage Shoji

Pretty simple mission.

Team: Shoji, Tadashi, Jinsei

Strat: By this point, you should have atleast a few items that were recommended. I'd probably give Tadashi his village item, Shoji sake or armor, and Jinsei fire arrows or sake if you haven't given it to Shoji. Basically you want to use Shoji's moves on the main ranger on the enemy team, if there aren't any, then use anyone. If the enemy team has a char that can remove bleeding afflictions, then take them out first. Once Shoji's 20 affliction move is on the whole team, they are as good as beat. Heal when needed, and use Tadashi's moves often.

The Devil's Purse

Disruption 0/12 (-1)

Yay another disruption mission! Lol I usually find these missions the hardest of the 3. Even though you could use a full disruption team, I think it would be best to use a team with only 2 or even 1 for better damage.

Teams:Tadashi, Shoji, Jinsei or Akira, Shoji, Jun/Tadashi or Akira, Yukigaaru Shoji

Simple strat with first 2, spike with good affliction damage in between as well as a healer for support. 3rd tean will be a bit harder to use. It has good stunners, but the damage output is considerably low, and its a bit of a weird team to use, so I prefer one of the other ones.

Fallout

Win 2 battles with Kage Sasori

Sasori is one of my favorite characters as well from region 1.

Team:Shoji, Sasori, Akira

Strat: This team has a good damage output through afflictions, and it can also be used effectively for a full disruption team. Try to use Sasori's stun before her 30 damage for a lower cost move, but it isn't a necessity and can be countered easily by the opponent becoming invulnerable. Shoji deals good damage with his affliction and Akira provides great stuns for decent combos.

Regaining Contact

Collaboration 0/10 (-1)
Disruption 0/10 (-1)

Team: For disruption, you can easily use the team provided for the last mission successfully.
Collaboration Part: You could use a full collaboration team like mentioned before, but those teams would be extremely hard to win with without a good spiker.

Team: Jun, Jinsei, Hana

Strat: It has a similar strategy as a previously mentioned team, except this team also has some affliction damage from Hana, and good draining as well. Jun works well with this as a heavy spiker, and Jinsei serves as a good healer.

Regaining Control

Disruption 0/12 (-1)
Assassination 0/12 (-1)

Team: For disruption, once again you could use the full disruption team mention ealier, or you could try Yume in instead of Akira, which is a team that I think works a bit better.
For assassination: I once again would use a full assassination team. At this point you can use Senboku Takeo, so that should help. The team I used was Tadashi, Jun, Takeo

The Shadows

Disruption 0/10 (-2)
Assassination 0/10 (-2)
Collaboration 0/10 (-2)

Teams: You could use the full teams I mentioned earlier, but like I mentioned before, I like to use teams that have one of each although they may take more time.
I'd use: Sasori, Jun, Jinsei

Extracting Amaya

Win 3 battles in a row with Kage Kurai

This mission could be a little tougher for some people because it requires a streak of 3, but it can easily be done.

Team: Tadashi, Kurai, Jun

Strat: Kurai and Tadashi are both able to use AOE moves, and with the help of Warbanner of Offense, they can deal a combined total of 65 AOE damage. Jun could deal a considerable amount of damage here too, and you don't necessarily have to do AOE with Kurai and Tadashi.

When you're done, Congrats! you have completed the Kage Village.


Senboku Village

Travel Safely

Win 2 battles.

This is a very easy mission, so you should just try to use a team that you can win with or are good with. You could also just experiment with different teams here to find new teams that work.

An Unforseen Twist

Win 3 battles with Senboku Yume

Team: Hana, Shoji, Yume

Strat: This team just works by dealing good affliction damage with an increased damage cost from Yume. You might wanna give someone Sake while using Shoji's Shuriken Wire, so he doesn't get stunned out of it.

Finding a Witness

Win 2 battles in a row with Senboku Takeo

For this mission, you could try your own team, or use the Takeo team I mentioned above with strat.

Pieces of the Puzzle

Disruption 0/8 (-1)
Assassination 0/8 (-1)
Collaboration 0/8 (-1)

Team for assassination: Takeo, Jun, Tadashi
Team for disruption: Sasori, Shoji, Yume
Team for collaboration: You could try Hana, Jinsei, Asami for a full team, but Jinsei, Jun, Asami might be easier to use.

Strat for disruption team: This team works like the "Unforseen Twist" team, except it deals better damage. A good combo would be to use Yume's tactic stun with Sasori's stun, so they can't avoid the 30.

Amaya's Gift

Win 4 battles.

This mission is easy, just use any team that you feel you can use effectively or that you like to use.

Controlling her Powers

Win 8 battles with Senboku Amaya.

Team: Amaya, Hana, Yuudai/Jun

Strat: Basically you would want to use Book of Mentality with Amaya, and give sake to one of the other chars. This way you can't get stunned after Amaya uses Book of Mentality. The basis of this team is increasing cost of opponent, counters, and drain. With the drain, it is harder to use a move with the other chars, so it does a lot more affliction damage. Also, Yuudai/Jun deal good damage for support.

After this mission, you have completed the Senboku Village! Also you are almost done with Region 1!


Demon's Lair

The Siege

Win 4 battles with Yuzuki.
Collaboration 0/20 (-1)
Disruption 0/20 (-1)
Assassination 0/20 (-1)

Team for collaboration: Yuzuki, Asami, Jinsei

Strat: Use Yuzuki's Range formation to increase range damage of Asami and Jinsei by 10. Then use Jinsei's 30(+10), Asami's 25 (+10), and Yuzuki's 45(+10) whenever you can for good damage. You can also increase the other's damage even more with Asami's +15 damage move. Remember to have the order right, and use Jinsei's healing when necessary.

Team for Disruption and Assassination: Mentioned earlier with strats.

Now you should be on the infamous Niiro Toge Battle!

A Traitor's Smile

Win 1 battle versus Niiro Toge.

This mission was a really tough one, and will be if you don't use the right strats.

Team: Jun(Warbanner of Offense), Shoji(Smoke Bomb), Sasori(Sake)

Strat: A simple strat for this would be just to pile up affliction on this monstrous 650 health opponent obviously. For a more in depth turn by turn guide:Click

Shishi Village

Guardians of the Forest

Win 3 battles with Shishi Takeko

There are many teams you could use for this mission. If you prefer to experiment with a full collaboration team, use that one, because it will help in the future, but if not you could just use the second team.

Team1: Yuzuki, Jinsei, Takeko
Team2: Takeko, Jun, Tadashi

Strat: Team1 is much like a previous team except Takeko is substituted in for Asami. It works basically the same except it relies less on the energy you get, and I like it because it works well with a Warbanner of Offense as well. For team2, it is just a simple spike team. You have most likely used the Jun and Tadashi combo before, and now Takeko also deals good damage for a random. make sure you have the order right if you use Battle Roar.

The Lure

Assassination 0/7(-2)
Collaboration 0/7 (-2)

For assassination, you can use any of the assassination teams previously mentioned. I prefer Takeo, Jun, Tadashi because its damage seems a bit faster to me, but you could use Kurai instead of Takeo for good AOE damage. Just experiment on your own. For collaboration, just use the collaboration team mentioned in the last mission, but if you didn't like it you could use Asami instead of Takeko.

Covering Fire

Disruption 0/9 (-2)
Collaboration 0/9 (-2)

Team for disruption: Yume, Sasori, Shoji
Team for collaboration: Yuzuki, Jinsei, Takeko

Strat: You have seen and/or used these teams before. You should be somewhat familiar with a strategy on how to use it, and if not check somewhere earlier in the guide.

The White Wolf Appears

Win 2 battles in a row.

Once again, I am not going to suggest any team for this, because you should take advantage of these missions and use a team that you are good with or want to get better with. It's a pretty easy mission, and maybe you could try a new "full" team that you want to test.

Winter's Claw

Win 4 battles with Shishi Nori.

Nori has a move with a health protector, so it would be better if you gave her the Battle Armor. You should have atleast the first character of both of the other villages too. So, you could try to experiment with you're own teams here, but there was a team that I found was really effective (browsing through forums).

Team: Nori, Yukigaaru, Niwa (Credit goes to Zelkyrie__ for team)

Strat: Niwa works very well with Metsubishi, because then she is able to stun everything really =D. Nori should have battle armor, and Yukigaaru should have Kunai or Warbanner of Offense. Really you should just protect Nori's defense with stuns and damage reduction. Then after you have enough stacked with Nori, just spam her damage.

Raging Tiger

Assassination 0/12 (-2)
Collaboration 0/12 (-2)

Team: Just use the full teams mentioned earlier, or you could try some new team with Nori in it. I really think Nori is underpowered because she is useless without her Protector prep, so I don't use her often, but you could try to make a team with her.

Ferocious Assault

Ok! We are almost done with this village.

Win 3 battles with Shishi Toraji.
Assassination 0/15 (-3)
Collaboration 0/15 (-3)

Team: Jun(Village Item), Toraji(Pipe of Strength), Tadashi(Warbanner of Offense/Healing)

Strat: Ok for this one, I felt that giving the items was necessary. Turn 1, you want to use The Pipe of Strength, Hunter's Eye on your first target, and Enrage. Next turn all you need is 1 strength energy, and you can deal 90 damage! Blind spot should have no cost, and Toraji's 50 damage costs just 1 strength energy. If you don't get the strength energy, you could use Tadashi's Arrow instead, but usually he gets stunned.

Jaws of the Beast

Win 1 battle versus Kozan Hahen.

You have officially gotten to your first AI of the second region!
This boss is pretty easy if you have the right strategy. For this, I actually find use of Nori lol. You want to focus more on the guards rather than the actual boss itself, since everytime you kill a guard, Hahen receives 150 affliction damage.

Team: Nori(Large Healing Potion), Sasori(Medium Healing Potion), Jinsei(Small Healing Potion)

Strat: So the boss will go after Nori first, with his poison affliction. You want to wait till Nori has 20 before you use the potion on her. Just keep stacking her damage, and remove the Ki Affliction drain with Jinsei as soon as possible. Don't bother using Sasori's moves on the boss, but rather use it on the guards. Once you have enough stacks, just barrage the guards with Nori's attack.

Kusa Village

I went to the Kusa Village first, because it unlocks the shop after you get the first char, but if you went to the Honoo Village, scroll down.

Lay Down Your Arms

Win 3 battles with Kusa Niwa.

Niwa is one of my favorite characters in the game. In my opinion she is the best stunner in the game and when paired up with Metsubishi and 2 strong spikers, she can be deadly. She is able to stun lock 2 characters and metsubishi can stun a ranged character, so with the powerful spikers, you can the ranged char before it becomes unstunned.

Team: Really anything works, but I'd use Jun, Tadashi, Niwa. I just like the Tadashi and Jun combo, so that might be why I chose this team lol. And like I mentioned earlier, just stun lock an enemy and spike the unstunned.

More Than Your Fair Share

Assassination 0/9 (-2)
Disruption 0/9 (-2)

Just use earlier Assassination teams mentioned, including the new one:Jun, Toraji, Tadashi(Items stated earlier). For Disruption you could use an earlier team, because it is still pretty effective, or you could try a Niwa team and get used to using her. If you have Honoo Hikaru, then you could try Niwa, Hikaru, Sasori.

Falling Blossoms

Win 4 battles with Kusa Yugana.

Team: Yugana, Hana, (Anyone spiker could go here. Jun perhaps?)

Strat: Well you want to set Yugana up quick with this team and then drain as much as you can with Hana and Yugana. Yugana is able to drain 3 chakra from the enemy, and with Hana, you can make it 4! And then Jun is in the team for quick spiking after the enemy team is left helpless. This team should work fairly successfully.

Through the Hedge

Disruption 0/15 (-4)

Use one of the earlier mentioned disruption teams, or experiment and make your own.

United Front

Win 2 battles with Honoo Youko.
Win 2 battles with Shishi Takeko.
Win 2 battles with Kusa Niwa.

So for this, you kind of have to get the first characters of the other villages atleast, but you should be that far by now.

Team: Niwa, Takeko, Youko

Strat: Well, thats the team I used in an effort to quicken the mission, but its a little difficult to use. It might be faster to just separate them an make good teams, but anyways...Niwa like always is a good support stunner. You should equip Takeko with Battle Armor for easier and faster damage for a longer time. Youko does good AOE, and with the help of Battle Roar (Takeko) and Warbanner of Offense, she can make it 45 AOE damage for just 1 agility and 1 random! So yeah its not a bad team if you have good luck, and the wins don't have to be in a row, so that's good.

Spring's End

It's time for you to finally meet the second White Guardian! He is a bit different, but still pretty good. I personally think he is a bit underpowered, but that will all change in time.

Win 2 battles with Yuurin.

Team: Really any team could work here, but I suggest something along the lines of: Yuzuki(Shurikens), Kurai(Warbanner of Offense), Yuurin(Shogi).

Strat: The items could be changed, and really I just made this team lol, but it could work well. Use shogi with Yuurin if you feel like the team is going to get severely damaged soon, so you could do his heal and invulnerability the following turn. With the many boosts this team gives, (Yuurin:+5 Damage, Yuzuki:+10 Ranged Damage, Warbanner of Offense: +5 Damage) you are able to do 50 AOE damage with Kurai and 30 with Yuzuki's Shurikens and if you happen to get Yuurin's 20 AOE along with that, thats 100 AOE damage!

Ensnaring Vines

Win 3 battles with Kusa Kao.
Assassination 0/10 (-1)
Disruption 0/20 (-2)

Well you guys are lucky for this mission! Me as well as others had to finish this mission when Kao was extremely underpowered before his rework. Now he is pretty good, but I haven't used him yet to know any teams with him. For assassination and disruption, just use the earlier mentioned teams, or try to experiment on your own.

Severing the Roots

Win 1 battle versus Kozan Jikkouso.

Your second (or third) AI of Region 2! This one (if i remember correctly) is really hard, because you have to kill her within 9 turns or you will die.

Team: Jun(Warbanner of Offense), Nori(Battle Armor), Niwa(Warbanner of Resistance)

Strat: You want to try to stun lock the boss while you enrage each turn. Use Nori's summon as soon as you can, and heal when needed. Stack Nori's move until about 4, and then you want to use her attack on the guards to kill both of them. Afterwards, just spam that attack along with enrage and Niwa's stun on the boss and you should be fine. For a more in depth guide:Click(Once again credit to Yamisebi for the guide.)

You should have atleast 2 villages done now!


Honoo Village

Embers of Disorder

Win 3 battles with Honoo Youko.

Youko is a pretty good AOE char, but it may be a little hard to make the right team for her. Usually any AOE team should work fine.

Team: Yuzuki(Shurikens), Kurai(Warbanner of Offense), Youko(Anything, preferably Warbanner of Healing)

Strat: Yuzuki's Ranged Formation only boosts Kurai and herself here, since Youko is melee. But with that move and Warbanner of Offense, you should be able to do 100 AOE Damage with the 3 combined. =D

Sparking Disruption

Disruption 0/15 (-3)

You've seen these missions before, and you can continue to use previous teams, or try a Niwa and Youko combo. By this point in the game though, you should know what teams you are good with and try to use some of those.

A Hope Forged in Flames

Assassination 0/5 (-1)
Disruption 0/9 (-2)

All 3 full teams have been mentioned earlier, but you could play around with the newly unlocked characters and make your own new teams. =D At this point, I still used Sasori, Shoji, Yume for the disruption missions, but use w/e you want.

Cooling the Fires

Win 4 battles with Honoo Hikaru.

Hikaru became my favorite character for Region 2 once i started using him. He has a better affliction then anyone else yet in my opinion, and also has a pretty low cost.

Team: Hikaru, Sasori, Jun/Yume

Strat: Same strat as the Sasori, Shoji, Yume team. Just work with affliction and spike with Jun. Pretty simple team.

The Heat of Battle

Assassination 0/6 (-2)
Collaboration 0/6 (-2)
Disruption 0/16 (-2)

Assassination and Collaboration teams have been given earlier in the guide, but now you might wanna try something new with disruption.

Hikaru, Sasori, Yume

Strat: Same team as the one with Shoji, but deals better, more constant damage. Also, this team now can stun and deal affliction damage that pierces invulnerability with Hikaru. Once again, pretty easy to use.

Meltdown

Disruption 0/18 (-6)

Ok, this mission is really tough because of the -6 per loss. This was probably the mission that I spent the longest time on too. But yeah, I used the same team that I mentioned in the last mission on this one. Just experiment with it and you should be fine. Dont get discouraged if this mission takes a while though cause it's a tough one.

Explosive Vengeance

Win 3 battles with Honoo Kamiko.
Collaboration 0/5 (-1)
Disruption 0/5 (-1)
Assassination 0/20 (-2)

This mission is pretty easy and now that you can use Kamiko, you should know that people are going to target her first usually. Collaboration and Disruption parts are easy for this, but for Assassination, just use Jun, Tadashi, Kamiko. Its pretty simple to use, and with Banner of Healing it works really well.

Destruction Incarnate

Win 1 battle versus Kozan Hai

Congrats! You are now on your second to last boss of the Second Region. (3rd AI)

This boss wasn't really too tough compared to some of the other AIs.

Team: Youko(Banner of Healing), Toraji(Village Item), Niwa(Banner of Defense)

Strat: I think the guide does a better job explaining then I can, so I'll just link you there again:Click. (Credit to Yamisebi for the guide). Just follow those steps and you should be able to finish successfully.

Now on to the Kozan Village!


Kozan Village

Breaking In

Win 4 battles with Kozan Tadao

Tadao was by far my favorite character for Region 2. He is easy to use and is very cost effective. Also, he has so many good AOE teams that he could fit in.

Team: Youko, Tadao, Takeko

Strat: This is just one of the teams I mentioned. Basically you want to use Banner of Offense in this team somewhere, and just keep Takeko alive. Then, after you have Tadao prepped, you can use Battle Roar with Takeko, and then AOE with the other 2 for a total of 100 AOE damage! You might want to give Youko the Pipe of Agility, so that there is a better chance to execute this. Also, you could get the 300 damage achievement with this team.

Changing Guards

Disruption 0/8 (-2)
Assassination 0/8 (-2)
Collaboration 0/8 (-2)

Team: If you want to you could use the team that was mentioned for the last mission, but it might be harder that way if you lose. If not, just use the full teams mentioned earlier in the guide.

Truth Unbound

Disruption 0/10 (-2)
Assassination 0/10 (-2)
Collaboration 0/10 (-2)

Same teams as mission above. Feel free to test your own teams for any mission by the way. That way, you will be better at laddering, and will be able to use more teams.

Friends in High Places

Assassination 0/30 (-2)

Team: Tadao, Tadashi, Takeo/Jun

Strat: With this team, AOE is the focus, but remember that you can also do 40 damage for a lower cost with Tadao. Forget about the AOE if you are in a position to kill a dangerous character fast. Also with this team you might wanna use Sake, so that then, really no one on your team can get stunned. This is probably one of my favorite teams to use. Just use your best judgment with this team and remember spiking is the goal.

The People are the City

Disruption 0/14 (-4)
Collaboration 0/14 (-4)

Once again just use whatever teams you want, or the teams mentioned earlier the guide.

Well if you hadn't noticed, this mission is long!

And once again, in an effort to quicken the pace of this mission I combined the characters to make teams.

Team1: Yuurin, Takeko, Youko
Team2: Niwa, Nori, Toraji
Team3: Kamiko, Hikaru, Youko
Team4: Yugana, Kao, ________ (I don't know any teams with Kao, but that seems like it works.)

Strat: Just use your best judgment for these, they are pretty simple teams to use. If they don't work, you might want to try other combos with the characters, but since it is not in a row, the teams don't really matter.

Enemy Within

Win 3 battles with Kozan Megami.
Collaboration 0/20 (-3)
Disruption 0/6 (-2)
Assassination 0/6 (-2)

Team: Assassination and Disruption are given, but for Collaboration, Megami, Takeko, Jinsei.

Strat: Just a simple team that has a good damage output for a low cost. With Banner of Offense and Healing, Megami can deal 30 damage while healing 25 too, which makes her a bit better. And its good for support, because everyone can heal/reduce damage.

Anarachy in the Kozan

Win 3 battles with Kozan Jomon.
Disruption 0/16
Assassination 0/16
Collaboration 0/16

Well, you know about Disruption, Assassination, and Collaboration, so I'll just give you a Jomon team. This will be a little harder now because Jomon has recently gotten a nerf which weakened him quite a bit, but I think the team below should work.

Team: Jomon, Kamiko, Megami

Strat: Well you really need the Banner of Healing and Offense with this team. It has a very good damage output for a low cost, and is more of a spiking team. It might be hard to use Kamiko's affliction, but that would most likely be because of her being targeted first. Jomon can use his diamond in desperate situations, and it helps him out with the extra strength energy that you get. So, this was a pretty easy team for me to use, but you could easily put someone else instead of Kamiko.

We are almost to the end! I think I see--nvm this mission is another monster.

Tyrant's Hold

Disruption 0/25 (-2)
Assassination 0/25 (-2)
Collaboration 0/25 (-2)

This missions isn't too bad. Yeah it has a lot of points which can be discouraging, but don't worry because this is the second to last mission! Just try to use those full teams mentioned throughout the guide, and if those don't work, make something of the newer characters you've gotten. I know you can do it. Only the final boss awaits.

King of Kings

Win 1 battle versus Kozan Isshou.

Well here it is, the final battle and the last AI of Region 2. He isn't too hard, but could possibly be tough if the right team/strategy isn't used. I think I beat him on my second try though, and if I can do it, I'm almost positive anyone can.

Team: Jun(Cleansing Water), Takeko(Village Item), Toraji(Sake)
