I made a region back in Feb, 2011 called Hanran Region. Anyway, partaking in the custom Character contest, as well as the addition of skill tags has inspired me to revamp the region and add reborn elements.

-Notes-
The region has been renamed to the Nottori Region. All the clans have been revamped and renewed. Most clans got a makeover, and one was scrapped entirely.
-I plan on adding level scaling, as well as a village item for each village.

Without any further ado, I will start with the Kahou clan. The Kahou village is located in a more desolate area with a high spiritual presence. This clans primary ability comes from bonding with a heirloom that has been in their family for centuries and has taken the form of a Tsukomogami. The unity is voluntary by the spirit and the two live in unity and fight in unity. The clan has a simple social system where the heirloom and it’s abilities help determine what position you are in the village. Some people become guards of the village, while others become tutors, helping the young clansmen develop themselves with the heirloom upon passing. While others become guides that help with those that get lost in the spiritual wasteland. The Position of Daimyo can be held by any of these positions, and is determined primarily based on the clansman and the heirloom as a team, not just based on the clansman.
Here is the clan item to begin. Followed by the three clansman in order.

Mysterious insense of the Kahou- A burned insense that empowers the tsukomogami and allows it to better assist in combat.

Kahou Hasaki- assassination hp 90 age 24
A young woman in the Kahou clan. She wears a simple white top with some faint blue and yellow accents. She wears black pants that come to her knees and are loosely tied to allow movement, she has a slender build with short brown hair and carries two swords, one of which is a family heirloom she fights alongside. In battle she fights with her both swords, and occationally allows her family’s sword to act on it’s own, allowing them to double team enemies or handle a group at once. She lives as one of the clan guardsman.
Blade Haunt- Hasaki sends her sword out to torment a single enemy allowing her to either divide and conquer, or double team. While only using one sword, she fights quicker and uses that to her advantage.

Energy Required:

Hasaki affects one enemy with Blade Haunt dealing 10 true melee damage for 3 turns. During this time, Tag Tactics andQuick Strike are altered and cannot target the affected enemy.

Tag Tactics- Hasaki makes a strong two sword attack, while her sword is acting on it’s own, it covers her allowing her to quickly strike one enemy and make another strike on the enemy tormented by her sword.

Hasaki deals 40 melee damage to one enemy. While altered by Blade Haunt this skill deals 10 damage to the target of Blade Haunt and 15 to another target enemy

Quick Strike- Hasaki runs in, makes a slash, and gets out. She is more able to avoid counterattacks when she only has one weapon.

Hasaki deals 25 Melee damage to one enemy. While Altered by Blade Haunt, this skill deals 10 melee damage making Hasaki invulnerable for 1 turn and this skills cooldown is increased by 1

Kahou Ongaku (stringed instrument) collaboration 90. Age 36
A man in his late 30’s. Ongaku is a tutor of younger clansman, helping them to grow in unity with their birthright companion. He wears a white tunic with blue highlights. He wears a pair of black pants and sandals. He has moderate length light brown hair pulled back and almost always has a carefree expression. His family heirloom is a sitar which he often can be seen playing around the village. His sitar often speaks with him and together they make music for the young and old alike to enjoy. Though he doesn’t like to, he can assist in battle when the time comes.

Haunting Melody- Ongaku plays a mysterious tune on his sitar which works with the energy of his allies to invigorate them to perform better in battle.

Ongaku increases melee and ranged damage dealt by both teammates by 5 and changes their damage to piercing for the 3 turns.

Ongaku performs a different song with his sitar which moves the energy in the body of the listener to keep their body cleansed and limber. Upon hearing this tune they receive and energy boost.

Spirit Chorus

Energy Required:

Ongaku grants one team member one random energy and affects them with Spirit Chorus prevents stuns on the target the following 2 turns.

Ongaku strikes a chord that lingers on an enemy’s mind, almost like a curse. The aggressive energy messes with the mind causing pain and numbing the physical body when coming near the source of the sound.

Ongaku deals 10 affliction damage to one enemy affecting them with Dischord for one turn. Ongaku ignores damage from enemies affected by Dischord

Kahou Sendatsu- Hp 90 Daimyo (heirloom lantern) (name means guide) disruption
Sendatsu is the Daimyo of the Kahou clan. He wears a white shirt with a grey jacket with yellow highlights. He wears black pants and simple shoes. He has dark hair, almost black. His heirloom is a lantern which he would use as a guide of the wasteland. Often having to go out and bring people to the safety to the village. Though Sendatsu is only 17 years of age, he has been daimyo for 2 years. This causes mixed reactions from people outside of the village. Though having never happened before, this is not considered unusual in the Kahou clan, where age is just a number, after all, the heirloom has years upon years of experience. Sendatsu’s bond with his heirloom is extremely tight, especially for one so young, most elders are not as closely bonded to their tsukomogami like he is, even getting to the point where they can finish each other’s thoughts. This can be seen in battle as Sendatsu lets the lantern move on it’s own the entire time, and does not even carry a weapon himself.

Sendatsu’s lantern starts to give off a faint glow, which almost hypnotizes one enemy by it’s mystifying light. Causing them to follow it and ignore things around them.

Sendatsu stuns one enemy for 2 turns. During this time the target ignores healing and invulnerability is disabled

Sendatsu’s lantern releases a cloud of will o’ wisps which flood the area causing minor damage to enemies from their heat, and making their movement difficult.

Sendatsu affects all enemies with Haunting Wisps dealing 10 affliction damage each turn. During this time melee and ranged damage dealt by the character is reduced by 10

Sendatsu’s lantern reacts to an enemy trying to bring harm to Sendatsu by bursting a surge of flame at them. The surprise of the burst causes Sendatsu to get away, and leaves burns on the enemy.

Spectral Burst

Energy Required:

Sendatsu counters the first non-tactic skill used on one team member by an enemy for 2 turns. If an enemy is countered, they receive a burning affliction dealing 10 affliction damage the following turn and this skill is on cooldown for 2 turns.

completely trusting his lantern, Sendatsu follows it when it gives him ways to avoid danger.

Ongaku isn't so good ... If he deals 10 affliction damage make the skill cost one random and no cooldown.
