Its a great item and all, but I dont see it in any teams, at least the current ones. It doesnt fit in the shogun so it wont make it stronger. Its balanced.
Never give up!

Great item. Could make really hard to counter if used in a good team. A lot of power teams are coming our way now.

This is by far the greatest news in the history of WoN in some time. Now I just want to see what items we get in the upcoming weeks. (too bad I need to go back to work soon)

As for the item, it's not cheap, but defineately worth the price. This can introduce to us completely new plays, probably some scary ones too. At least that is my first impression, we just need to see how it really turns out.

I'll post my experience later.

Turns out warbanner of the shogun is stronger than I thought, especially with teams that heavily clash with energy.

Jyouzu+Sasori/Ikuchi
Yukigaaru+Toraji/Toge/Kame
Jinsei + Kao

Oh dat 30 2 random piercing + 10 infinite poison <3

Excellent idea. I look forward to seeing the next item. Based on the banner, it appears that a blade sharpener and a Frost Arrow are in the near future.

Also, pay no mind to the naysayers. They're the type that will complain no matter what you do.

Let me be honest - I hadn't figured out how the new Warbanner worked until reading these posts because I couldn't afford it. I thought that using Pipe of Energy with, say, Jinsei WHILE Yukigaaru is holding the item, Jinsei would get HER Wisdom changed to random and then reduced by one random while Yukigaaru would get HIS Strength changed to random as well. This is apparently not the case based on what I've been reading here?

Let me see if I got the proper usage right now. If Jyouzu is holding the item, all of the entire team's AGILITY energy becomes random for the turn if they use a skill, but if Yukigaaru is holding it, Jyouzu's Agility remains unaffected while all of the team gets STRENGTH turned to random? Thus making a Jyouzu + Agility + Agility team, or even a Yukigaaru + Jun + Kame team work because they suddenly no longer clash? If this is the case, I'm actually very curious how this is going to turn out...
Made my avatar myself. :D
And yes, I'm male. I just like Terra Branford a lot.
We need parody characters on WoN. Who's with me!?! XD

I think the most interesting thing about this item is the tradeoff that it forces on the user. Yes, you can make some great combos with the Warbanner -- but will they be worth it if you must sacrifice Kunai/Tanto on Yukigaaru or Warbanner of Offense on Jyouzu? I think tradeoffs like this really keep this item in check, as far as whether or not it is overpowered.

Making new teams now is fun. The old teams become weak when you compare. The game is at different level than it was 2 days ago.

This is awesome. Both new item and character updates will keep this game fresh and creates more demand for game-play than the other arenas may be able to do. Whether it's on the PVP or RPG side, constant updates and new releases for characters and items will boost the website activity, as it creates more possibilities and strategies that keeps the game fresh.

I agree that yukigaaru will be quite crippled as a result. But jyouzu and the WoO issue can be resolved by giving WoO to another character(Sasori). Ironically giving Sasori th WoO is more viable seeing as she doesn't need to worry about energy issues with Warbanner of the Shogun, allowing her to deal 35 piercing damage per turn!

Don't forget jinsei though, her situational ability gets crippled in an obvious full wisdom team.

Jinsei and Yuki are fine with the Warbanner, and Jyouzu teams die the second you throw in energy control characters.

It seems that the banner is actually pretty balanced
