Hey guys, this is the showcase/main topic for my story, The Twenty Zanpakuto. As some of you may know, this is the second version of said story. My goal with TWZ Redux is to improve the writing, create more connections between stories and set up for things earlier, and give characters more believable motives and distinct personalities. There are going to be a lot more chapters this time around (a story that took me one chapter to tell the first time around was expanded into three this time, if that tells you anything). I'm also rearranging a lot of the stories, and adding in new characters, so even if you have read the original story, there will be some surprises. Comments and questions are always welcome, so feel free to post them here or on the chapters themselves.

Series Description
Seth Jennings is a high school student who's life is changed one day when he stumbles across a real life zanpakuto. He soon finds out that his was only one of twenty, and the other nineteen were stolen. When other zanpakuto wielders begin to cause trouble in the city, Seth makes it his mission to stop them. Along the way, he makes new friends and learns more and more about the mysterious world of zanpakuto.

The World
The story takes place in an alternate universe where the manga Bleach and its anime both exist, but so do zanpakuto. In this world, zanpakuto are wielded by humans, and a zanpakuto can be used by anyone, though it only has one rightful owner. Somehow, a zanpakuto will always find its way into the hands of its rightful owner. Zanpukuto can be summoned to the side of their current owner at any time, and if the rightful owner has the zanpakuto, it will disappear when not in use.

Seth Jennings: The main character of the series, he finds a zanpakuto and is drawn into a conflict that doesn't truly understand. He is a kind person and wants to help others. He has unusual red hair, which is usually pretty messy. Zanpakuto: Nichibotsu (Sunset).
Jake Warner: Seth's blind best friend. He is snarky and sarcastic, but like Seth he genuinely wants to help people. Despite his disability, he has been trained in hand-to-hand combat and swordsmanship.

Antagonists
Brock Balderas: A strong man who loves to fight. He sought to acquire a zanpakuto so he could fight with his rival Greg on equal footing. Unfortunately for him, it made him too powerful, and forced him to seek out a new rival.
Jessica Rand: A girl at Seth's school who acquired a zanpakuto from her brother after he died. She is not very attractive, and as such tried to use her zanpakuto to attack pretty girls. Zanpakuto: Botan Inko (Lovebird).

Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.
