I think thumbs should also be based of how many thumbs, or rather how famous/useful ur posts are.

Example:
A guy with just 10 thumbs can only have a thumb worth of 1 thumb(if it makes sense at all :( )
But a guy with 100 thumbs can have a thumb worth of 3 thumbs

I hope you guys get what i mean, i suck at explaning

Tbh im not a big fan of this whole thumb process anyway, so i dont really like the idea od thumbs being worth more then other thumbs. Ive seen people with over 50 thumbs and all they do is spam, and somehow get thumbed...so the idea of their thumbing holding more value seems like its not so good.

It might be true in some cases. Thats why we should really consider which post is actually useful an deserve more attention by thumbing it. Not just some idiots that spams lame jokes

Some people do consider that before thumbing, but the majority dont...Ive seen mods get thumbed for saying topic locked, and locking a topic..hardly thumb worthy posting there. Just dont think the thumb system needs to work like that, just my opinion. :amused

Good point. I know I don't spam and I have only had 3-5 of my posts thumbed when they shouldn't have been, other than that they were earned.

I did like the idea at first but it would also not work with the current thumbs up system.
