Hey, for all I know it is vines or something. The only translation I could find was face, but there might be others and mine might not be what Nori intended.

I wonder why Japanese people all name the characters like that. Even in Naruto they have things like Uzumaki and Naruto which have attached meanings, and in One Piece you have for example Nami, which means wave.

Does save them the trouble of coming up with names.

I think it's just that most Japanese names happen to have other meanings. I think it's the same way with a lot of other cultures' names too. You can probably search online to find out what your name really means. Mine, Ryan, means Little King in Gaelic.
