ive done all the aoiri missions but it keeps staying on interlude. Ive also done all the required niiro missions.

In that case, try checking for any question marks on the map. They show you the next place to go.

theres a question mark on the kage village so maybe i have to finish all those missions first

Yes u do have to finish all the missions u can b4 u start ambush I am fairly sure.
