the defense it grants can easily be ignored by piercers and affliction damages
and now that we have the warbanner of healing, it's barely useful anymore, as the WoH grants you a PERMANENT advantage - the heal - while the WoD grants you a one turn advantage, which is usualy less than that of the healing banner
so i think, it really needs a boost...
so first, i'd say, instead of giving damage reduction, it gives Destructible Defense, so it couldnt be pierced anymore and thus, would protect even better
and then i'd say, it could give an additional 5 points of dd if a non-damaging skill is used(most likely a defensive, disruptive or prep skill)
of course, the dd would only last for one turn in any case
so articulate it precisely:
Warbanner of Defense:
When a member of your team uses a skill, they will gain 5 points of destructible defense for one turn. If a tactical skill is used, they'll get another 5 points of destructible defense for one turn.
...
this would definetely boost the banner greatly, though, it could be too much and make it overpowered - but i am not entirely sure atm and do not see many more options for a change, which would also not be op or abusable - so please, comment on this idea and explain why it would be op/up or balanced - also, i am grateful if anyone would like to share their ideas with me
