Honestly, something needs to be done about it. More times than I can remember, if someone thinks they're about to lose a character, it's not hard to guess what their about to do: smoke bomb.

Essentially, this buys them a turn for just 1 random energy.

In many cases both teams will be within lethal damage range, so one person goes on the defensive by using the smoke bomb. What the first person to do this soon realizes they just lost.

What happens is that your opponent just mimics you. So at this point you either just surrender, or get desperate and use your entire teams invul. Okay so you went invul...you still lose. All they have to do is once again copy what you do, and when it rolls back to your turn you're a sitting duck.

I'm not saying it HAS to be nerfed, but tweak it, that way its not abused so much like the kunai was at the start of the BETA. Most of us remember how that was...

I k:amusedinda agree with you but since almost everyone is using smoke bomb it doesnt make such a difference .

EX: Both players have smoke bomb when the first one uses its because hes almost losing then the other player uses to so its just an extra turn.
Never give up!

I agree. It's just an extra turn. As far as I've seen anyway, most of the higher ranked players don't have Smoke Bomb anymore. It's a bit overpowered but since you can predict it, it's balanced.

There's nifty players/items that allow you to ignore invulnerability as well. Any combination of things can be viewed as "OP" when viewed through a narrow enough scope. What balances smokebomb is that it is a one-time use item that can't protect you if your opponent plays in manner that forces your hand, such as attacking your team member with the item.

I actually think that the skill is fine. As far as I believe, before the full release it had the same skill, or no? If nothing was done back then, it won't be happening now.

When the BETA started, it was the same it is now, except it cost nothing to use. I never said it was OP, just abuseable. (ya i know lots of things are but cmon)

@cmaissomeone
If your stunner is still alive, you MAY have a slight chance. Of course, this isn't always the case. They also might stun your stunner prior to using the smoke bomb.

@Dawsoe20
True, but not everyone has access to those items or characters. Also, wow you already beat Toge? I believe you only get "of Hanto" title if you beat him...but I can't remember. good job though.

I don't find much wrong with the skill. Considering the fact that the game gives you the chance to view what your targets hold just take out the person with the smock bomb or just stun them.

I have to say i really like the smoke bomb, helped me out a lot of times and if the enemy is having one, you have to think twice about your next move.

Its an very interesting item indeed!
So just leave it as it is
Just relax and take it, there“s not much left that you can control. So try your best love your self and you will reach the moon!

I remember in BETA when there was a glitch that smokebomb had no cooldown.
Anyway there is no problem with smokebomb imo. Yes it can be useful, but items have to be useful. Although I see your point, I find no reason smokebomb should be tweaked.
It is not the one who says something perverted is perverted, it is the person who thinks its perverted that's perverted
