I think this would definitely help us out with the warnings (:push)..
So, it is not going to be hard to understand, I promise. :tongue

The name of this would be, in my opinion, Automatic Warning Notification. OK, I know, I know, this could easily be misunderstood,
so before a moderator comes and locks this topic, I am just going to
make it quite clear: Sometimes you accidentally break a rule, and receive a notification message telling you that you were warned because you had broken a rule. But you do not actually see your current warning level. You do receive those messages, and - hopefully - keep track of them; however, you would be forced to check your private messages with a view to seeing how many you have received so far/until recently. With that being said, something ought to be changed, and I even know what it is: a new system.
I assume some of you have already gotten to know ZetaBoards. It has the option of being able to see your current warning level by going to My Profile>View Profile>and there are those points filled in.
So the suggestion is: make it into a great thing by copying its style, that's to say there would also be that system, not only the current scheme. Of course, unfortunately, I must admit that this would not be so easy because for Zetaboards, there is a given amount of warnings able to be given and filled in, so let us just say that just like ZB, the system would be a "five-point" type. In the end, you should be able to go to My Profile>View Profile>Current Warning Level>points filled in (it'd show them. Exampli gratia: you got 2 warning points: 2 circles filled in).

OH, OH, and I forgot to mention that you would surely get more points, according to what kind of rule you broke!:amused

This was suggested before and I will say the same thing. You can keep track of your warning points and you can always check your messages if you lose track. But for me warning points are easy to remember... 0 :amused Don't break rules and you won't have to trouble yourself with tracking points.

Sure, but it is just very easy to code, and what if you have accidentally deleted those messages by mistake, so you can't see them?
Also, the system would automatically delete those five points per ban. I don't see why you don't understand: this is for newbies and regular players, and all the players, not just for you or for me.

How do you accidentally delete your warning messages? You don't lose your points when your banned, they stay and add up. Also staff tell you to track your points when they warn you I think, so newbies should listen :blink

If you need to know your point count, just PM a moderator, most of us can tell you exactly how many points you've been given.

True it's a bit tedious, but we've already considered other ways of viewing your points. We also can see how many points you have just by looking at this thread. Not necessary.

You don't get it, but in all honesty, I didn't expect you all to understand it at first, so I'm going to explain it to you, in the way you do. So, you are implying that it would be much better if we all just sent you a PM about our point count. Of course, you didn't look before you leap, so I'm asking you this question: why if there are some 200 players, so if they all pm'd you, it would just suck so bad.. but no, there are much less players on the forums; however, you never know what might happen, thus I would like to give you the advice of thinking much more about this, Takeko.

It seems that Yukigaaru and Yuudai has already copied ZB's style..
Fine. Well, as I said, you just never know what the future brings, so there may be approximately 70 players on the forum. The question is simple: would you like to put yourself in the mods' shoes, that's to say, answer all the 70 questions; not to mention that all of them would be all about asking you for their point counts?

Furthermore to arguing with you, if you implemented this, we all would surely be able to see our point counts at any time.. And of course, I'm sure you all are so serious about this moderating stuff, so we, members, really don't want to bother you by doing so, do we?

By implementing this idea, we all would be able to ~, so there would be no need for asking you for those point counts 1 month, a year, 2 years later.

Well at this time there isn't many forum members. Id the staff get asked by members maybe 1-5 times a week then thats no big deal and no reason to make such a change. If it gets to the point where they get 5+ a day then yeah maybe it would be time to think about this, but even takeko said its not an issue at this time.

Ok, I know, but I think it's 10 at least.
Let's leave the details open. This will be a great idea for later, I'm sure.
