All I know from the story is that he cares/is associated to the Shogunate AND that he is superior in rank than Yuurin, meaning he might not be a Samurai. And can White Guardians be of higher rank than Samurais? Mysterious isn't it, but not asinine like the others up there.

White Guardians are generally a very high rank, but not always the highest. In each region, they are like a governor, they outrank the Daimyo even and generally have the final say on everything, however in the capital things are a bit different. There's a lot of Samurai there who out rank even the highest ranking White Guardians.

That said, yes the Mysterious Guardian is a White Guardian, however I've stated he's not one who is assigned a region like the White Guardians you've unlocked so far, so his role and thus rank are not yet released.

Thanks for clarifying that he's a White Guardian. More or less he's a White Guardian who has no association to nay region, meaning his powers might not be related to 2 junctions of 2 ninja clans like Yuzuki and Yuurin...Hmmm.

Maybe he's got power's 9or 1 power) from each region....

If I will consider Japan as the country, then each one must be like a state or city region.

Think of it more like the concept of Australia and the UK. Australia has its own individual laws, borders and so on, however technically the head of state is the Queen of England, and her will is delivered by the Governer General. Same concept applies to the regions in WoN.

Well considering we only have knowledge to what he is and zero knowledge to the 2 villages he obtained his powers from, we get to guess and be wrong 99% of the time.
