Hey WoN friends, it's Bankai again :push. I was with nothing to do, and then I decided to create a guide I was thinking since a while ago. This is a guide with helpful tips and organzed gropus that can help you when making a team. Let's go!

-CONTENTS-
-The Character Types;
-Good Combinations;
-The Characters and Their Costs + Speciality;
-The Items;
-Check Also.

-The Character Types:

This is the main stuff of this guide. Each character has a speciality, and making teams with chars of the same spciality ca be very useful. But this is the next item. Now, we will know the different kinds of character:

1 - Spikers: Character that deal massive damage to one single enemy. Full spiker teams use to kill an enemy in about 2 or 3 turns.
Main examples: Jyouzu, Jun.

2 - AoE (Area of Effect): The opposite of spkier. Characters that deal less damage, to the whole enemy team.
Main examples: Tadao, Tadashi.

3 - Stunners: As the name says. Characters that stun parcially or fully an enemy character - or even the whole enemy team.
Main examples: Niwa, Akira.

4 - Affliction: Again, as the name says. Characters that deal mainly or only affliction damage.
Main examples: Shoji, Sasori.

5 - Counters: Character that has counter skills (usually they have only one). They can be visible or invisible.
Main examples: Yuudai, Kao.

6 - Healers/Wallers: Healers and waller have different effects but are usually used on same kind of teams. The healers are characters with healing skills and the wallers are characters will one or more skills that can protect a team member (or all of them).
Main examples: Jinsei (Healer), Hai (Waller).

7 - Stealers (or drainers, as in WoN): Characters that remove or steal enemy energies (or life, as Yugana).
Main examples: Hana, Yugana.

8 - Batteries: A small category, but very useful. Characters that grants energies for their team.
Main examples: Toraji, Yuurin.

9 - Increasers: That kind of character annoying to fight; characters that increase enemy's costs and cooldowns.
Main examples: Nori (cooldowns), Yume (costs).

10 - Boosters: Character that increase the damage dealt by the allies or on the enemies.
Main examples: Jyouzu, Takeko.

-Other categories not so present at WoN, but existents-

11 - TANKs: Characters that use to last more on the battle, due to one or more skills or other reason that make their death difficult.
Examples: Yugana, Megami.

12 - Instant Killers or One Hit K.O.s: Characters that can kill an enemy instantly with one or two skills, or that can deal damage enough to kill them in one turn.
Examples: Nozuchi.

-Good Cominations:

When making a team, usually it's better to make a team with characters with a same speciality, but that's not a rule. There are some combinations that can be very strong. Here are few:

1 - Spikers + Healers/Wallers;
2 - Stealers + Increasers;
3 - Stealers + Counters;
4 - TANKs + Spikers;
5 - Batteries + Stealers;
6 - AoE + Boosters.

There are many more, but that really depends on the team you want to make. These are just the more used. Creating more combinations can be very good to make a good team.

-The Characters and Their Costs + Specialities:

The list following will be helpful if you want to make a team with no clashes or with specific specialities. It can make the search for a good team easier.

-The Items:

The items are an essential part when making a team. They can cover the weakness of your team, counter the enemy team's strategy...
But what item to use in each character?

1 - Check your team's strategy: An item can be the main part of a team's combo. Example:
Shoji + Kurai + Nori + Warbanner of Resisteance = Nori not stunned while charging + Shoji not stunned while marking an enemy + Kurai not stunned for 1 turn (to use No Tomorrow next).

2 - Check your character: Many characters have weakness that can be covered by items. Example:
Omoi + Kunai. Omoi has only one offensive skill and it deals low damage. Another damaging skill is essential for him.

3 - Check the enemy team: An item swapped before the battle can be a prefect counter to the enemy strategy. Example:
Enemy team: Kao + Amaya + Hana = 2 good counters + 3 affliction dealers. Your team: Takeo (Smoke Bomb) + Jyouzu + Omoi. Swapping Takeo's Smoke Bomb by Senboku's Crystal Ball will make your team ignore the enemy team's 2 counters. Swapping any character's item by Painkiller will make one of your team members ignore any enemy damage for 4 turns, since the enemy team just deal affliction damage.

SHouldn't Akira also be affliction, considering two of her skills are affliction?

also, I'd add Boosters/Increasers- characters that boost damage, examples; Takeko and Jyouzu (his Bloodletter Stab)

Also, shouldn't Yuki be a TANK too? Considering he has the most health points at this point.

Nice guide though.
Thanks for the share, will bookmark this.
I can see all the effort you put into it, and because of that I'll be thumbing you up.
Also, Yuurin should be: battery and Healer

Thx all for thumbs up.

@Manji: About Akira, I tought that too, but she deals few damage and only for 1 or 2 turns, so I put only that 2.

I might add that Booster thing too, thx.

And Omoi is not TANK. He just has 20 more health that normal chars, and a counter is a normal skill, so, not TANK.

Edit: Booster category added.

A tank is someone who can survive long.
Examples: Takeko, Niwa, Megami.

I hope you don't mind that I'm picking away at everything lol, just trying to help improve it.

Another Category to add possibly- Disablers; basically characters that can disable effects on enemies or themselves. Example; Enemy Disablers: Tadashi and Yuzuki
Self and Team Disablers: Megami Kamiko and Yume
Maybe even- Preps/Charges; Meaning That they have skills that need preps, (or charges to increase damage), like Kurai, SHoji, and maybe even Sasori if you wanted, or Jun and Takeo

More things to add:
Shoji- Waller; Reason: Shadow Guard
Yume- Stunner and Healer; Reason(S): Waking Dream and Fortune
Hikaru- Affliction; Reasons: All his skills aside his invuln. I know none are permanent, but all his damaging skills come along with an affliction.
Kao- Take Away Affliction; Reason: He only has one that only lasts for 2 turns. It doesn't make sense for me that Akira isn't affliction and had two, and he is, but only has one. This one could be debated though.
I've already said it, but Yuurin- Healer; Nature's Embrace

This is all I found. Hope it helps make this awesome guide more pwnsome

@Manji: Thx for all support, but I put the main categories of each character, it doesn't need to be exactly. For example, you won't choose Yume as a healer for a team with 2 spikers, in that case u'd choose Jinsei, since Yume heals only 5 health of an ally for 3 turns (and doesn't stack).

@Marcel: Oh I see. I put her.
