Time for another review from myself. If you didn't read my original review, then go here. This review is on the latest updates, from the chat system to the newest releases.

Chat System:
Oh chat system, how we've been wanting you for so long. And you finally came just under a month ago. How is the chat system? It needs a few tweeks here and there, but overall it's very solid. The tweeks that I am referring to are:

1)An ability to make the windows larger/smaller (for those who don't want to miss a second of chat while in game)
2)An ability to add people on chat directly to your friends list

Yes, these are the only gripes I have right now about the chat system. Overall, I give the chat system add-on an 8/10 as it currently stands.

The Market, Hebi Clan, and Token System:

The Market and Tokens:
The April 8th update brought the market, Hebi clan, and a new type of currency to the game. This new currency is the token, which you earn through completing missions and laddering. Currently the limits on tokens are:
275 tokens for completing the original storyline and its missions (the first 2 regions)
40 tokens per 24 hours on both ladders (combined)

Personally, I found this token system quite attractive from the very start. It pretty much gave the message, "If you want more content for this game, then you have to play it." Though I'm sure new future regions will be free unlocks, special side villages like the Hebi and upcoming Seishin and boss characters, like the recently released Kozan Hai, will cost some tokens. It also seems like upon the week of release, villages will get a 20% off discount, bringing their costs from 400 tokens to 320 tokens. Bosses don't seem to have a discount and appear to have a steady cost of 150 tokens.

The only suggestions I have for the new token system is for national holidays, such as Christmas, to give some kind of discount in the market (or give the ability to score some extra tokens via ladder). It'd be a nice gift for the holidays. The other suggestion I have is that over time, special items and possibly even regular characters get added to the market to make it a lot more full.

Overall I give the market and tokens system an 8.5/10.

The Hebi Clan
The Hebi clan was the first item available in the market. On launch it was given a 20% discount, making it 320 tokens instead of what seems to be the usual 400 for new villages. This DLC gave 3 new characters, 8 new missions, and a nice clan item.

The missions themselves were quite the challenge. It was nice to see some harder missions. It made you feel like you were getting your tokens' worth. However, it was easy to tell that many people got frustrated at how hard the missions were so fast. Hopefully this doesn't turn off the less skilled players. The first character you get in the village is Jatai, a support character focused on disrupting. She has an energy drain, affliction damage, and a 2 turn stun.

Ikuchi is heavily focused on poison affliction. He has a nice spike move that does require a poison affliction to be on an enemy to be able to use the skill. Though this can potentially slow him down, he makes a great combo with the poison darts item. Not to mention his affliction from his standard attack can stack.

Nozuchi is my personal favorite. He has a protector which transforms into a nice AoE skill when used, a counter, and a skill that stuns an enemy and instantly kills them in 3 turns. Though he does have quite high costs for his skills, he is very lethal in the hands of a skilled player.

The clan item grants a protector of 15 and gives any enemy that uses a melee skill on that ally a poison affliction of 15 damage for 2 turns that can renew. A very useful item to be honest, even if it is just used for the protector, the item costs no energy to use.

I give the Hebi clan DLC a 9.5/10.

Kozan Hai:
The latest and final update is Kozan Hai. Kozan Hai brought a new type of skill to the game, a damage limiter. Basically all of 1 type of damage used on an ally is reduced to a certain max amount. Basically, if an enemy used 60 damage worth of melee skills on an ally with Crystal Touch on them, then all of the damage would do 20 instead of 60. This is good against spike teams, however, since the skill is visible, it's very hard to make an opponent fall for it. He has a similar skill with the same effects that is usable against ranged opponents as well.

Hai also has an AoE that gets increased damage from constant uses of his defensive skills and has a heal that removes poison afflictions, a nice counter to the recently released Hebi clan.

Though Kozan Hai seems like a decent support character, he is very lacking in many fields. As I stated early, his damage limiter skills are visible, making them kinda useless in a way. His offense is okay, especially for a collaboration character, however, with his friendly skills lacking it brings him down as a whole. His heal seems to be his only good skill, but even that skill can use a slight buff.

Overall, I found Hai to be quite disappointing. I give him a 4/10.

Here's how I feel.

Chat System: No one should be bitching, period. You're lucky to even have it. Personally, I don't care. It's nice to have, but it wouldn't bother me if we didn't have it.

SO, in a sense, I agree with you, minus the bitching.

The Market, Tokens, etc.: This, this is my favorite part. I completely agree with you on almost everything. I love the challenge it presents, I love how it keeps players interested in playing vs just waiting for new stuff to come out.

The only difference is, I wish the token gaining worked differently. I feel like the token system should REWARD GOOD PLAYERS For example:

Instead of 3, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, it should instead reward people that are good players. It should be something along the lines of.

1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3 and so on and so forth until one loses. Basically, the more wins in a row you get, the more tokens you should receive, makes sense, right? Of course, there'd be a maximum cap of say 50 for each ladder.

Personally, I dislike the small token cap currently on there, it irritates me when I can't get any more tokens because then I don't feel like playing. Especially when something like a new village cost 400, and you can only gain, what? 40 tokens a day?

Kozan: I agree. For a first boss character, I was pretty dissapointed. Not to say that he should be OP because he's a boss character, but I defininetly wish he was stronger.

OVERALL: My rating on everything new that came is 9/10. They're doing a great job with this arena.

I clearly agree to what both of you say.
The chat system needs improvement, and the token system as Roach said, should be that way. This provides an overall stability to the game.

Doing holiday related stuff is difficult. Not everyone has the same holidays, and as such if we do one and not another, people will be less than happy with us. Perhaps if we can work a way around this, we can find a way to do something like that (not saying we will, just it may become possible one day) and we'll see where it all goes from there.

Also, enough people complain that they can't play all day as is. If we made it so you get less at the start, then only the dedicated players would be rewarded, which is good for them, not so good for the majority. I oppose Roach's idea, and that does not bode well for it.

Is it possible then to perhaps increase the cap of tokens? It makes sense to try and be fair to those that can't play every single day, but it's also unfair when those of us who do make time are rewarded with little tokens.

I opposed the token system at first sight to.
Now we are a few days further I'm beginning to like it more and more.
For example there came just a new boss jikkouso. I wanted to get the Hebi village but now I need more tokens for both of them cause I think jikkouso is a awesome character I want. It just makes the game longer and it lets you test out new teams, personally I dont mind that u need to do point and streak games, I don't even do point games cause I'm afraid to get some really bad ratio.

But I can just do streak games I have in the past 5 days collected around 40-50 coins, I think that is pretty much ( I could have get more when there wasnt a cap). Also it is just a little extra before region 3, would you get the characters immidiatly or with only 50 coins u would be bored sooner or later cause there isnt any new stuff to get.

I want to write more but I have to go to school now :push
