Blazblue is, in my opinion, the best 2d fighter game around. There is actually a plot line that looks like it had a lot of thought put into it, amazing cutscenes and its full of hilarity. The gameplay is amazing and there's nothing better than beating your opponent with an Astral finish.

For a lifetime we fight without freedom. Still we wait for the warrior's return. Though we're clashed down and broken, we'll still carry on. Alone in this lost Fallen World.

Never played it but I know alot about it. My favourite character is by far Hazama but I like using Lambda-11 more in gameplay in continuum shift.

@title: sucks.
@topic: TIME TRAVELLLLLLL is an overused concept for a story that does not take a lot of thought. It's like "WE CAN DO WHATEVER WE WANT, THEN SAY TIME RESET AND IT WILL MAKE SENSE LOOOOOOOLLLL." It's annoyingly lazy. The characters are flat and one dimensional, without the excuse of at least looking nice. For example, Hazama is Gin What'shisname from Bleach with green hair (once again, lazy).Look at this and tell me which cast is more colorful.
The gameplay is okay, for a fighting game (ie: spam exactly one combo and you will win against 50% of characters, spam another to win against the other 50% or just spam D) but Jin/Tager/Nu/THE WHITE STEEEEEEL are clearly superior to others. And Carl is useless. I did play only the first so things may have changed in the sequel.
