how about where it shows new topics and latest activity and what not, make a tab that shows the topics that you personaly have made (or atleast the past 5 that you have made)
i made a topic a few hours ago and left it
it took me so long to find that damn thing
and maybe you could make a second one that is topics that you have commented on most recently(past 5)
that way, it would be easier to navigate quickly

That sounds good. I remember what my topics are though and am really good navigating a forum sitemap so finding things is easy for me. I also am on a lot so I see if someone posted by looking at the recent posts on the right. but its a good idea. The only thing though would be where to put it.

You could put a link, perhaps by the profile of the user logged in so it would be something like:
Contribution:
Joined:
~Click here to see your most recent topics

In my opinion it would be very handy :3

I think it would be nice to be able to see who has thumb-upped a post. Mainly this is just a curiosity thing, and probably wouldnt really benefit the fourms.

Yeah that one be good but not recent topics. Maybe past 5 or 10 topics so they would go away as they are created.

We shouldn't be able to search those then.

yeah ok. If they are shown in our profile, show our last 10 created topics, and view of staff recent topics are blocked then its supported by me.

Also, it would be good to include the New Posts or New Topics sections in every topic, since I have to go back to the beginning to see them. It might be good at the start to roam around the boards but it might get annoying after a while.

Last comment made in january 17, still a nice ideia, i like it, only bumping to prove that we need to be able to search the foruns by ourselves, not rely on the almitghy google all the time (unless it would really lag the foruns, than i'll just shut up and use google... can someone of knowledge tell if it will really lag things around here?)
