The worst has happened. Alex Rider is OVER! I'm very sad about this, since I love this series and the man behind it all, Anthony Horowitz, the brilliant writer behind The Power of Five Series (Raven's Gate, Evil Star, Nightrise, Necropolis) and the imfamous (In a good way), Alex Rider Series.

It finally ends with a final confrontation against Scorpia, an evil organization (Can't say more without spoiling).

What do you think of this? Are you sad to see Alex Rider go?

And don't forget, The Power of Five series is about to end too. But don't fret, Anthony Horowitz has been chosen by the Conan Doyle Estate to write a new full length Sherlock Holmes novel which will be published by Orion in September 2011. And for your knowledge, Conan Doyle is the creator of the Original Sherlock Holmes Books, and THEY are the main people who give the seal of approval for Sherlock Holmes books. I believe no one else has this power.

I shall not lie. The movie could have been SOOO Much better. The book made the adventure seem awesome, but the movie made it all look boring, almost like some Home Alone wannabe. So, from seeing the movie alone, I cannot blame you whatsoever. Read the book of the first part. Much better.

However, they are making a television series of Alex Rider, so I hope they give Alex a redemption on the little screen than the bigger one. And yeah, I heard that "Yaseen", the 10th Book was going to be released. I bet it's just exploits of Alex's Dad and Yaseen, and I have no problem with that. It'll kinda be like an prologue, and it may feature Alex's Uncle too!

And on a side note, yeah, it kinda did actually. But remember, Yaseen thought that he would never see Alex until the first time he met him, and getting to talk to him feels like a great sign of relief to him, now that he "WAS" supposed to bring Alex to Scorpia and he'd tell him everything about his father. So it was deserved psedo-yaoi.

Also I dont like the fact they describe that assasin guy all tall and hawt and russian and blonde in book, then hes some red haired creep in the movie.
I agreeee books are bettah on this part.

I am on my way to read it, just need moar time :D
