Hello all,

Please advise if there is any possibility to modify the matchmaking system, so players who are doing mission games or quick games should be matched against themselves while people doing both arena should meet on a different matchmaking system.

The reason for this is that players doind missions are playing with gimped 3 of a kind teams and are easy pray to people doing ladders which are running much better and equal teams.

also, it would turn the ladder into much more competitive arenas where people dont get 500 - 600 points for catching number 1 to 50 with a 3 collaboration team and boosting themselves.

In the end, I also spoke with a few guys in the top of the ladder, who are reluctant to play the missions for seishin village so they wont boost people on the points ladder.

This seems a little ridiculous
The reason the ladders were merged was so people wouldn't have too wait 10 minutes for a match-up
And anyway, if you get yourself up to the top 50, you should know some pretty good collab/assas/disruption teams anyway

This. It's pretty annoying to wait for 5 or 10 minutes just to be matched up with other players who are more or less on par with you. You may not know it but this was the case back then and one of the reason why it was merged.

Ye this happens alot...But i guess it should stay the same considering matchmaking would take ages to find a team if it would be only ppl from points ladder...(ppl in fire arena are gimped too when doing streaks with certain chars)

I understand this might be a problem, however I though that probably there are a lot of new players now, and since the introduction of tokens, everybody is doing ladders now, so there shouldn't be a problem.

I think everyone is doing the testing and trying new teams on the fire arena, where there aren't much penalties for losing anyway, and you can get streaks also.

I guess the developers might see if this is right or wrong, I hope there is a sufficient player base that can allow this.

I completely agree. If the match making system was altered (it was altered one day for about five minutes, I kept facing nothing but first region players on missions... as happy as I was, this isn't fair for those new players) we would see a lot more rage quits than we have now...

Note: I too was on mission, and your idea seemed to give me a significant advantage on missions.

Even with more ppl doing ladders now still there is lack of ppl there.As far as i know matchmaking system puts priority on ppl who are in same ladders.Only if it cant find you enemy in points then it matches you with someone in mission/fire arena

Sorry if it's slower, but atleast you won't be losing.

Don't use a "full" team unless it actually works, seriously.

The match-up system is fine.
Otherwise we would wait too much to find an oppenent and this is annoying, so people could quit WoN due to that and then we have less player, so we have to wait more and more people leave and so on.

Moreover, beginners can still win with mission teams against ladder teams.

And if you think this match-up system is unfair, then you are wrong.
It is the same if someone who started the game meets someone who is doing a Kozan, Hebi or Seishin misiion.

There are few full teams who work good but yes ussualy they are weaker.And if player is doing collab mission 25 -5 its crazy slow if you don't do it with full teams.

This post is an answer on this topic.

Roach means that many player are using full assasination, collaboration and disruption teams, which are almost based to win with luck.
So, Roach tip is to play with 1-2 characters of the speciality, if you do not have a good full team.
Example:
Disruption 0/18 -3

Instead of winning two times in a row with a bad full team, you can use Disruption char xy, disruption char xz and assasination or collaboration char vy.
Or you use only 1 disruption char in your team.
