I'm trying to find a book. A book that I read about 5 years ago. The only discription I remember of it are that there is a map of that book. And the the farthest right on the map is a place called Star Peninsula (shaped like a star) beyond a mountain range. The star peninsula has a grand castle or something, and is the current headquarters of the mages. But it originally belonged to the demons.

The story is about a boy, who discovers his demon heritage; in this world where magicians are revered as high beings. I remember something about a ring somewhere... a sort of carnival at the beginning of the story.

I simply forgot the name of the book. And it's not a stand-alone. There are two-three volumes of the book. Could you um help me find a book matching the detail given above?

Ah, that makes sense as well. The Time Master Trilogy is the "prelude" to the Chaos Gate Trilogy, which would make sense considering they seem to have similar stories (well, I've never read these books, so...)
