I've had this idea for a while for this game. I dunno if it's a good idea or bad or how to implement it, but it will be cool if there's a certain team bonus if you use people from the same clan, all white guardians (assuming theres a third one in region 3), all kozan bosses, etc.
The bonus doesnt have to be something big or game changing, but small stuff and a one time only thing, such as if you use all Budou, the first turn you will get 1 extra red energy. Or all Hebi you can inflict a one time 5 poison affliction to a char (like an activated effect) or one time 5 hp heal or for shishi for one turn protectors cant be disabled or destroyed, but 1 turn after that they're destroyed, and such.
Like i said, i dunno if this is a good or stupid idea. Just tossing it out there.

It sounds like an interesting idea, although I think this is what they tried to achieve by adding clan items and such-forth.
Plus, for the most part, don't the clans work together well enough without special augmentation?

I dont think clans work together well. Most of it dont anyway, such as Senboku. And full shishi dies in front of Yuzuki / Kamiko. Even the ones that work well clashes. Or maybe i just cant play very well

And yes Low, this will encourage ppl to use full clans.

this is a nice idea.that way it will be way more fun and easier.so i vote yes.and if they do that it would be very cool to see which team what it does

I'm actually going to attempt to give my opinions on how this bonus will be on each clan. Who knows if some of them is actually useful and not OP/UP (The naming could use some creativity): (Again, all of these are one time bonus)
1. Starters (Jyozou, Jinsei, Yukigaaru):
Shogun Rush :(Activated effect) One team member's melee or ranged attack gains +5 damage. That member will take 10 additional damage from melee and ranged attack the next turn.
2. Budou clan:
Shaolin Endurance : On the first turn, gain 1 extra red energy.
3. Aoiro clan:
Bullseye (Activated effect) : Select one member. This turn ranged attacks by that member is piercing. The damage done by this ranged attack is reduced by 20 points.
4. Niiro clan:
Superb Swordplay : The first use of Legendary Katana of Niiro does not deal 15 affliction damage to the holder. The holder of Legendary Katana of Niiro cannot be healed.
5. Senboku clan:
Dream world (Activated effect) : Select an enemy. This turn, that enemy's skills cost 1 random energy more. This enemy cannot be targeted by another energy addition attack this turn.
6. Kage clan:
Hide into the Shadows (activated effect) : Select one team member. That member is invulnerable this turn. After this is used, that character cannot go invulnerable again this game.
7. Hebi clan :
Poison master : The first poison affliction dealt to an enemy cannot be removed.
8. Shishi clan:
Summoned Spirit Barrier : The first protector summoned cannot be destroyed or ignored on the enemy's first turn after it is summoned.
9. Kusa clan:

Deep Burn : The first burning affliction dealt to an enemy cannot be removed. However, that enemy can still be healed.

Spirit Beast Protection : The first stun performed by the enemy to a Seishin character is ignored (damage still hit). Afterwards, each stun that hits this character will stun for 1 more turn.
