Ok, so yesterday I had an idea when I was thinking around Metsubishi and Sleeping Powder. Straight to the point, lots of items are only usable once, like potions, smoke bomb, sleeping powder, while attacking items can be used multiple times. Umm, ok, logically you throw it away, and waste some time in your next turn to get it back?

Anyway, how about items having not only cooldown, but also an amount part. So for example, you got a pack of 3 from the throw kunai, or you can only use 2 sleeping powders during a game. Of course in your next battle this counter reset. It might be not a key to balancing things or to make it more difficult, but I think it's a nice touch if it doesn't require too much coding.

What do you think?

Its a nice idea but now this has to be done for all those items and would be something else that would effect balancing, making it harder to balance.

I would say no because it could be nfair to use some items twice a game.

I'm kinda confused. Item packs as in a bag of say, three Kunai, from which only 2 are usable per game?
If that's the case, wouldn't it make the extra item basically useless, since you are saying the counter resets per game.

Well, if the item that can be used up to 3 times was used only 2 times in a battle, it's only your fault you didn't used it entirely. Maybe in your next battle you can plan to use it up to the maximum 3 times.

So on your example, you're saying that Kunai can only be used three times per battle? No, I dislike the idea because putting logic in the game would ruin it most of the times imo. And there would be more balancing issues going on more since some items would have a certain amount you can use.
Dont get me wrong, it's a good concept, but it wouldn't fit into WoN.

Isn't it already the concept that there are more than one kunai with them and have only 1 med pack?

An example:
Items that are usable after cooldown = They have more than one of those
Items that have permanent cooldown = They only have one

Makes sense that they have lots of Kunais and Poison Darts, and that they would reread Book or reuse Shogi.

They have more of them, right, but it might look they have infinite amount of them... which is not true, but it's just a perspective. I get your point, but that's not entirely the concept as how it works.

I dislike the idea. The point of items are that they are an additional skill for each character that can be interchanged to the player's liking. Players know the risks and rewards to equipping certain items to certain characters. Limiting their usage is just...Pointless to be honest. If an item will have limited usage,it will say how many times the spell can be used (for example, sleeping powder is a one time use).

i like the idea but not an idea for WoN, itll only make some characters UP especially in 1v1 situation like Yukigaaru (the character) and others too
