Season 1 of the points ladder is coming to an end at the 31st of July, and we are planning to launch season 2 1st of August. At the end of this season your statistics will be reset. Don’t worry though, all statistics at the end of a season will be saved, and you’ll always be able to view them in your profile and on the ladder season pages.

We are also planning a reset on the Streak ladder, but details on this reset and possible seasons for the Streak ladder will follow in the future.

Let us know what you think here.

I finally get a chance to get better ratio and actually have a chance to battle Marcel and others for number one, that's always welcomed.

But don't reset streak until we get the points for top 50/10 etc.

Nvm they fixed it I guess still kinda random. :laugh

Finally. :amused

Now I can improve my ratio and we will have more competition.

Well, we should wait for the Streak Ladder reset until we have atleast 2500 Streak Ladder particpants.

Can you tell me, Yuudai or Yukigaaru, how many have already participated on the Streak Ladder?

Spoiler

I voted for six months. :oh

Sounds cool. It will give other people a chance to increase their level and take the top spots before the veteran players are able to. I have a question, however, and it is this: Will the first person to win a match after the reset become number one and get the achievement for doing that, or will we have to wait until 2500 people have played a match again? If it's the latter, then what about thr streak ladder when it resets?

Yeah, six months sounds like a reasonable answer to go with, give you time to do something on the ladder and stuff. I guess once it reset, I may get to have a place for a change.

I think otherwise, as More and more people got bored of War of ninja ladder rankings within 3-4 months, I say 3 months because a standard in real life season is 3 months and i would think it'd be sensible to do 3 months. Also, it will make more and more opportunities for people to get to rank #1.

I think 3 months is just OK, but 6 months is too long...

I suggest every 150 days...

150 days are around 5 months, It's just a bad time period to my mind.

Now that I've found a few teams that I play really well with this reset will be a good chance to improve my ratio

I agree with Encore, after three months, the ladder settles down, and you only have a few minor changes

I mean the sites been out for just over 6 months now, and who's been on top for most of that time (granted Marcel, you got there middway through the 4th month, but you weren't really in-gaming for the first while)

Nice, I'll have the chance to improve my ratio since in the beggining I lost too many battles for not having a competitive team.
But to me, a season should last at least 6 months, that's my opinion.

And rurudo, the achievement page says... "Get positon X in points ladder with at least 2500 players participating bla bla bla". So the first one to play won't get the achievement, as it should be.

Well, you are right(I got my first ten Points Ladder wins on 31 January).
I think 6 months are good because there is enough time, not too short and not too long + in six months will much happen.

May I suggest something?

What about settling to the old N-A ladder, where you had rank instead of level, and reset that ladder every two weeks? This "skirmish ladder" would function alongside the overall season ladder, with the levels.

That way, people can achieve rank 1 quickly and lose it quickly on the skirmish ladders, which is very motivational for a new player. They would focus on the skirmish ladders and, without noticing much, they would already reach high levels on the season ladder.

But that's just me. I just think the old ladder was way more fun.

6 months is way too long. This game and the ladder need activity, action ! 6 month is so long that it will be active for some weeks then die because almost non one will play hardcore for so long...

Anyways, it looks like the admins are back, 2 news today and good things to come in a near future i hope (3rd region, bosses ?). Would be AWESOME if admins could tell us more about those things ^_^
