Well you have your answer. I advice you to enjoy the game and play the streak ladder so you get the achievements and the tokens everyday.

Only play the points ladder when you know the game enough and have a lot of characters unlocked.

To get maximum token obtained without relying on recruits:
- Finish all mission in region 1 & 2 not including Hebi and Seishin
- Ladder and Streak everyday to get maximum 40 tokens everyday
- Once enough tokens, prioritize getting Hebi & Seishin since their missions give tokens
- Grind the arenas until you obtained all characters
