So, after tying up with the USA twice, Japan wins in Penalty shots. Discuss this I guess, or say anything else about the game itself.

I personally really enjoyed watching the game, even though the USA won't bring home the World Cup...

USA dominated this game but Japan was able to get the draw -> 1:1 and 2:2.

I thought USA would win after the 1:0 but Japan's morality was great.

USA won three times against Japan this year.

The statistics before the match were:

It's nice to see Japan as the world cup winner but USA played better to my mind.

Hopefully, women soccer and Japan's soccer will be improved.

There were a lot of bad calls IMO.. and USA shoulda won.

Yeah, the foul was hard and Japan was lucky at the 120th minute.

USA miss shoot the first time and then the second time, although the woman could have shooted better but her nerves failed.

USA dominated but Japan was tricky and however the match was played, the win counts.

I couldn't watch the game, sad to see they lost.... not that it was a big deal to me. Sounds like Japan got lucky tho (wary)

On my opinion, USA had more better athletes but whenever Japan plays, they play with an underdog heart style of playing which makes them as good as any team there is.
