Which character do you think is the most useless without a certain item?
I'd have to say Yuudai. 99% He will have his VI equipped to deal some quick and easy damage.

Yuudai is not useless with/without the VI.
Yuudai's skill cost doesn't change without the katana as with it. It's really the execution that is eased.
I don't think any character is useless, but Shoji and Yugana without WoR is pretty stun-able.

Nozuchi without shogi. Reason being is that he is just way too costly to be very useful without it.

his more of protect and kill type of person
he does seriou dmg when used right

Exactly! I completely agree with you, although I think that his "give 1 random to each team-member' is really good. It's worth the two random sometimes.yuurin ... maybe without shogi

Yuudai without Katana is actually a stronger version of him if energy is not a problem to get.
As for certain items, Kurai. Kurai depends too much on potions and his Cloak. Without those, he can get easily damaged and stunned. Same for Nozuchi. Hell we could go for Amaya as well since Akira can pull of a Beautiful Dawn with the help of Tactical Mastery without BoM.

Actually Amayas isn't hard to get as well to be honest I've been able to use hers on turn 1 before. Getting 2 blues on the first turn. Its not as comon but I don't think she's useless without her item.

Although if that's your justification, then there is NO character that can be insanely useless without a certain item. Item Dependency always exist one way or the other.

Hmm ... I actually had to think about this for awhile. As Mirroga said, I feel that no one is insanely useless without a specific item. Although, if I had to pick a certain person, I'd vote for Yuukigaru I suppose.
