I honestly like Solution B more. Stealing energy is essential in the game to gain an advantage to be honest. And yes he is discarding 4 random energy to gain 3 (+3 to be honest because each turn gives out 3 so its discarding 4 random energy to gain 6). With Shogi, he basically gains 6 free energy. (That is if no enemies defend themselves, normally Yuzuki is his teammate though).

Akira's Beautiful Dawn removes 3 energy with the 4 energy cost. Comparing it with just randoms, I find solution B best but I would not mind Solution A as well. I just find Solution A still a bit more powerful.

I don't like the idea of Smokescreen -> Master Thief, its just too much prep for him. Especially Choking Hazard is relied on Smokescreen as well.

But Beautiful Dawn also stuns and damages which is far better than Master thief by any means in my opinion. Even with master thief stealing 6 energy I find beautiful dawn to be a much better skill because of the sure stun and damage.

Anyways I prefer the smokescreen -> Master thief idea because I thought of that before falling asleep. Since you all want to change it maybe having to prep smokescreen before it but keeping it the same as it is now but with the added effect that its cost cannot be lowered. This way at earliest you would only be able to use this move starting turn 3 if you go first, and turn 2 if you go second and are lucky with energy.

Arasoi steals 1 random energy from all enemies. If used when Smokescreen is active, this skill steals 1 more energy from all enemies.

Cooldown: 4
Classes: Tactic, Instant
