I think the players at your timezone always agree with you, lol.

Anyways about the whole Shoji/Tadashi matchups against Jikkouso. We cannot avoid such unfair matchups. There will always be unfair matchups such as Amaya to Kamiko, Daiki to any melee user, etc.

As for Shadow Guard, it needs zero changing.

But the thing is, A melee user, still has an amount of damage output vs Daiki, Shoji doesn't have any vs Jikk, and seen as he has this skill, maybe we could rework it a little?

I don't even think we can change what he is now. Shoji's character has always been stuck as a channeling type and also the reason why he became one of the most lethal character as a WoR user. Removing the channeling from Shoji would just make stunning Shoji pointless and make him more lethal than now.

I know we can't all stomach this but there's an insane amount of matchups which are unfair. I felt one already which is Takeko vs Nori. Hell, a Nori with WoR in 1v1 against Yuki might have chances, but we all know he can only do 1 counter move and 1 hard right to stall the inevitable.

its really useful, before i was using a yume-akira-shoji team in points and most of my wins with them are because of shuriken wire along with shadow guard to defend akira mostly, so along with my experience with shoji and the never ending shogun starters, its useful..

Well I usually use it when I have a lot of energy and I can do nothing else with Shoji or when I play against a character with ranged damage but I agree with you too I don't think it is really useful.They should replace it but they shouldn't overpower or underpower Shoji if they replace the effect or the whole skill.

I think it's not a useless skill.
My enemies often use it but I don't use it often + I don't play him often because of characters like Jikkousu.
He should not be changed.

Still not be change, but hopefully Jikk's the uncontrollable should have CD's after trigger like 1 so at least shoji can take a chance :smile

Em... You're forgetting Tadashi in that list, who deals 50 dmg, so Shadow Guard actually nullifies Muti-Shot.
However, I use it only when the opponent has Kurai, so that the ranged dmg only hits one character, or in case I want to prevent Shoji from being stunned (when I use WoR on him).
However, it is actually a pretty useless skill, and I'd be fine with a rework on this skill, since he's the only character who can't damage Jikk at all. (others deal low dmg, but dmg at last).

I actually use the skill (sometimes) to counter Tadashi and Kurai. But i agree in a sense that it is not a very useful skill. Like i use it 1/20 games tops.

I think it needs a rework of some sort. Maybe the protection from ranged lasts for 2 turns or it heals instead. I dunno, i'm just throwing stuff out there, cuz Shoji is now one of the most useless chars in the game.

Or, if no rework is gonna be done, make a char in the 3rd region that will be completely useless vs shoji lol.

what about if this skill dosnt reduce any damage this turn it deals some damage to a random enemy.or something of that sort.

I disagree.

Shadow Guard may seems to be a good skill because of the amount of Ranged damage it reduces, but I have rarely used it in battle.

Shoji just needs a boost. The skill can stay cuz it's tactical and if he has WoR, it makes him still cant be stunned if opp uses SB (Which by the way, SB reduces his effectivity by half). But his skillset needs some rework.
