There's already a feature where it says "You have to wait 15 more seconds before posting again." And if you double post, it's out of your stupidity. You should know what to do.

So no, it should not be added.

I don't think that it's a bad idea, but I think it would be even simpler just to place the "Send PM" button in between the "Edit" and "Quote" buttons. Most often, I notice the reason that some people double post is because they mix the two functions up....

In regards to the pop-up feature, Death does bring up a good point. Merely paying more attention would help to prevent double/triple posting.

90% of the time I double or triple because my server lags horrendously

That means I don't even know if it's been posted once when I reload, so having another pop-up would be pointless

Preview post is also pointless. There's really no need for that. Preview "topic" is better.

@Jrawls: Actually, it's fine as it is where "send pm" is.

75% of the double posted messages are in terms of lag issues and as such cannot be changed by the suggestion. 25% comes from actual annoying double-posters.

No idea if the percentages is right but the suggestion as of now don't help.

It would be annoying imo, and making an option to turn it off would be too much work. The idea itself also won't even help much, nor it is needed. So, not happening, topic locked.
