There is nothing wrong with adding a wide screen option. I think it would be used more than the full screen option and there's nothing wrong with adding it. If people don't like, they don't have to use it. Anyways, I agree.

Sorry but what you are suggesting is very different from the current full-screen mode, and is not as easy as it seems. You see, the client has its own default height and width, which was chosen when the game was being made. Now if the widescreen mode were to be made, it would require a new, separate client with all the objects and images in it moved according to the new dimensions, whereas the full-screen option just zooms-in the vector and non-vector images, hence the bad quality as you said (which can't be helped).

To put it simply it would take a lot of work, and this isn't something that's really useful or needed. Locked.
