Well the training gave me the cool idea to have the ability to upgrade village items. We all know how UP or underused some village items are so why not make them better.

E.g:

Swiftness Upgrade:
Decreases starting cooldown by 1

Offense Upgrade:
This skill now ignores invunrability but deals 45 piercing damage.

Defense Upgrade:
This skill now decreases Melee and/or Ranged damge by 10 for two turns.

This is just a rough idea but you get the point, try and be constructive with your criticism please.

Eh, does it have to be ALL of the village items? Because some like the Niiro's VI is always good enough, though I agree that upgrades to certain village items should be available.

No it doesn't have to be all the village items but items like the Flute or Crystal Ball, which aren't UP but not very useful either need an upgrade.

I think along the line, item upgrades would be interesting to see. At the same time, I think WoN will have their hands full balancing with the new training system that is in progress. Perhaps down the line, these training systems could add a whole new aspect to WoN's gameplay.

More support yaaay! :laugh

The training system is going to make everyone pick a play style they like and take it to a new level. I persornally am going to take disruptive style to new heights.

I wouldn't mind item upgrades, but I don't really like your idea, plus, the offense part is too op. Characters and Items are different. It would be better if the scrolls themself had a special purpose for every item. It would make things so much better and more interesting.

Bumping this topic since it was over looked with all the hype yesterday.

And yes Death I see where your coming from, one upgrade per item was my original idea anyway.

No, they just need boost not training upgrades. Besides most of the VI's are super OP.

Offense Upgrade: Adds 10 damage to all attacks effected by the Legendary Katana of Niiro, but removes the taking away of one strength energy from those attacks.
Defense Upgrade: Deals 10 affliction damage to you, but takes away 10 damage from the attack.
Specialty Training: Removes the strength energy and another random energy, but does 20 affliction damage.

These may be a bit overpowered or underpowered, so I want to take any suggestions. I'll see if I come up with anything else.
You cannot defeat a godly foe if you are but a mortal. Until you reach the stage of your foe, how is battle even possible? Contemplate this before you fight a god. In the same way, it is nearly impossible for anyone to fight the darkness or the light directly... until now.

Yup, cause the item is OP all of these are nerfs expecially Speciality which is absolutely useless on Yuudai and Hana. Also the Defence upgrade makes no sense cause the item doesn't give damage bonus.

no, No and three times NO!!!

You can't upgrade Crystal Ball of Senboku or Scared Flute of Shishi and it is not necessary
