Here is a proposal for Balance update 3.1.

Kemuri Saigai

Encroaching doom:
The following turn, ignition costs 2 random energy.

Ignition:
Bypasses invulnerability.

Kemuri Sainan

Dashing throw:
Deal 10 damage to an additional random enemy.

Hallucinogens:
Stun tactic and mental.

Pickpocket:
Decrease cost to none. Cooldown decreased to 3. Each time this skill is performed it will cost 1 random energy to perform it the next time.

Cleansing Water
Cleansing Water now ignores invulnerability.

Caltrop
Energy cost reduced to none.

Senboku Eien
Fog of Eternity:
Change to instant.

Vision of Death:
20 damage for start and each boost with 20 and has a cooldown of 3.

One Step Ahead:
Eien can also target himself.

Minds Eye:
Eien bypasses counters and invulnerability.

Edit: changed Bowl of Water to Cleasing water

Umm, Bowl of water?

Nice boosts to Eien

I think the Saigai one might be a little overboard, but we shall see

Sainan looks fine now

What is Bowl of Water? :confused

All the boost seem solid except Eien got nerfed for some odd reason.

It has a cooldown that allows it to be permanently in use, along with two other boosts

I need to agree with most of what Karab has said. Eien's boosts were really nice and I don't know WTF is a Bowl of Water as well. However, I disagree with two of the points expressed through his posts:

1 - I don't think Saigai's boost might get a bit overboard, no. It will get A LOT overboard. Removing one full energy through an attack that has no cooldown and ALSO improves the "second attack"? That's a bit too much. Maybe changing one intelligence to one random is better, but I still have my doubts.

2 - I don't think Sainan looks fine now. Actually, I love the boosts proposed, specially the boost to her Pickpocket skill, because it does make sense both skill-wise (not overpowered, not underpowered) and story-wise (after all, the awareness of one will raise everytime he gets something stolen, thus, demanding more preparation/energy from Sainan). I do agree with Sainan's proposed boosts.

EDIT - Lol, Bowl of Water was actually Cleansing Water. That is an over-boost as well, since most of the characters that deal with isolation are from the Honoo clan (examples: Youko and Hikaru), thus, effectively disrupting those teams and skills. If that boost happens, Hikaru's skill will be worth nothing, for example.

what is bowl of water?

anyway it would be better if enroaching doom just cost a random.... but dealt 10-15 damage same effect.

I like Eien's change.

Saigai's change will rise his win percentage and if not, it is hopeless.

Every skill of Sainan is overpowered now, it makes this update hazardous.

Why did you boost Cleansing Water?

That idea won't fix Saigai percentage much cause Encroaching Doom will still be used as filler move.

Sainain stuff looks good

I don't think Vision of Death needs extra coodown, 5 damage drop however is good along with other changes.

Nice way to damage the meta, me likes!

Boosting Cleansing Water nerfs Firebomb, it's an indirect nerf.

Fight overpowered items with overpowered items.
I do not think that FB + FotF will be much more useless, the overpowered items need to be nerfed and not balanced items boosted.

Clessenur, which meta do you mean?

It could also be a nerf to Hikaru who needs a nerf.

The boost to Cleasing Water basically means you can now use it to stop Hikaru's Isolating Blaze.

I think Sainan's Pickpocket might be a little overpowered. To be able to steal an item every three turns with a cost starting at 0? I say start it at one random and only boost one of the other skills as well. If it turns out she needs more of a boost after that then you can add in some of the other stuff, but the proposed update is a little drastic.

The fact is she's dead last.
Drastic boosts to start is off, if it proves to much, Then a minor nerf to fix her. Doing small boosts specially for a character that's the last in the % is pretty pointless.

"Pickpocket:
Decrease cost to none. Cooldown decreased to 3. Each time this skill is performed it will cost 1 random energy to perform it the next time."

Great, now she's the character to beat up FB-Feathers If needed be. Or other characters that heavily rely on items.
