I don't think it's that much of a nerf since he really needed a big one. And now his prep at least has a use different then "Gotta cast it on first turn to use skills".

It's good to see this nerf. Kurai still is above-average character, but a little less annoying.

Kurai is not UP. In fact, this will barely drop his useability, but watch as stats show him low, because people hate playing with characters that get nerfed.

It's all about mind games. People think nerfs make characters weaker.. (duh! ) But I guess you are right. Any matter of disadvantage can be walked-around.

But in this case, he is Up. Kurai is mostly equipped with LHP, or sometimes Ramen. Kurai has to switch his prep off, then next turn heal himself, then turn it back on again.

Kurai is a character who is not supposed to have sustainability. The admins never intended for him to be a tanky damager. He is a high risk high reward character. In addition to that, he still has his cloak, which STILL gives him sustainability, in addition to 10 DR.

Regardless, he still perma locks a single enemy and still deals massive AoE damage, he is fine, in fact, still op if you ask me.

I never use LHP with him, so I find him the same. Though Kurai isn't that op anymore, so he's alright. Nice nerf.

you people have to realize why kurai got nerfed.
well, it's because of his usefulness in a certain meta ( kurai (large health potion) tadashi (smoke bomb) yuurin (shogi)).
of course, there are many more good teams with him, but this is the most overpowered and overused.
this is the third nerf which was mainly directed to this team, and it seems that this one has heavily dented the usage and OPness of this team, and decreased kurai's usefulness (for example, his no tomorrow can be effective for a maximum of 17 turns with just a large health potion).
so overall, this was a very awesome nerf, and it will also reinforce people to make their own teams.

No, the ikuchi meta has been shot down by Ken nerf. This is for those annoying Kurai + LHP teams, especially Tadashi SB Kurai LHP Yuurin Shogi.
