Should we put an end to this? Should we let them continue doing it?
Should they kick the habit of doing it? What opinion are you of?

It should be changed because it is not good for little children.

So here's what we're going to debate about: I believe that the music industry creates way too many music videos that contain sex scenes or something. Would love them to change that. If you please!

Personally I think it ruins what Music is actually about, being a form of Expression of Emotions being outspoken per sound of voice and tunes.
Look at it this way:
Imagine Moonlight Sonata with all that crap.
Beethoven would be turning in his grave and wanna go blind along with being deaf.
Adding in:
Music Videos are very easy to be viewed by Minors and partially even Children.
That is probably the bgge
However I don't think it should be changed unless coming up with something else to replace it.
Sex Sells afterall and without it the Music Industry would probably get a major wound that is hard to fix.
Though that is only my take on this.

I mean I really don't care at all because you're going to be exposed eventually.

So, you do realize you agree with me there, right?(...)

No, really. ^^ And I agree with you. o.O
Yeah, that's the point there, actually. I mean, you're 100% right, I believe, saying that if they did remove the sex scenes from the clips, much less people would be willing to listen to them. And, mention must also be made of the artists that actually "got into" the limelight by making clips that are all about porn. Just take Lady Gaga as an example. I know I should be objective and not include my personal opinion, but I believe that she wouldn't even be there if she hadn't made many clips that do include these scenes. It's just a pain in the neck, really, to see them do it. Why can't people just get a bit more serious on the whole thing? Even E.T by Katy Perry has some scenes that are considered "nude" or something to that effect. The situation is extremely sad. Most of the time, I'm just like... facepalm.

Sex sells, it's as simple as that.
Pretty much.
However as much as it sells it also does take away what Music is truly about.
Shame IMO.

However at this point in time its unfortunately too late to change this point and revert Music to what its supposed to be.
*sigh*

How does it take away from music? As far as I know, I don't have to watch any music videos while listening to music.
What is music 'supposed' to be? That which fits your opinion of it?

If you don't like the art expressed in music videos, why are you watching them?(...)

As far as I'm concerned, no one is forcing you to watch these videos.
If these videos are 'inappropriate' for children, then it is up to a parent or guardian to decide whether or not they will allow their children to watch said videos.
Basically, there is nothing wrong with music videos.

The OP clearly states:
"I believe that the music industry creates way too many music videos that contain sex scenes "
Sex in Music Video most definitely takes away the true value of Music so your point of "listening" is irrelevant as Music Videos are about "watching" cause that is what "Videos" are there for.
And by "watching" sex in a Video the artists try to gain attention of viewers instead of relying on true Musical Skills.
Listening to Music is another thing than watching the Video.
Sex isn't a form of expression?
It is so-so.
Point of this Thread is that there is too much sex in Videos.
I certainly wouldn't mind if as long as it undermines the songs meaning and emotions, but not when its just about gathering attention or to boost sales thus Music losing the point of its meaning.

What if the song is about love? Or hell, even sex.(...)

Dude, what? You can't watch music.
